Larkswold Creative Workshops
Arts & Culture Experience
This delightful company has been created by two friends who met in the Cotswolds in 2016 – Emma and Melinda. The quiet location inspired them both to make the most of this especially beautiful site. It has been the subject of a poem by Edward Thomas and breathtaking countryside surrounds you here.
By wanting to share the intimacy with nature that you can find here, Larkswold began. Their aim is to bring ‘joy and warmth’ from being in a creative environment while meeting like-minded people. When you create and try something new involving your imagination which is nowadays so often at rest, you become immersed in a new world. Both Emma and Melinda like to transport you away from the real world. After your workshop you should leave feeling refreshed and restored.
At Larkswold you can try a myriad of crafts which all come with a side of wellbeing and cake. A great choice for groups you can also attend alone and meet new people. Each craft is hands on and you can choose from wreath making, calligraphy, block printing, arm knitting, candle making and more. You can even book a full day and try two! They also offer a wellbeing day with the aim of improving your daily life with relaxing hints and tips accompanied with crafts to ease the noise in your mind.
Many of the workshops are run by local artisans and guest tutors who are experts in their crafts. They will ensure you leave your workshop with a finished piece that you can then proudly display in your home. If you are already a crafter at heart and you are currently working on a project then go along to a Craft Club meeting. The first Wednesday evening of the month you can join other makers for crafting while drinking tea and enjoying cake.
Guests of Bolthole Retreats can receive a 10% discount on any Larkswold workshop. Visit the Guest Login for more details.
