Oosland Barns
A blissfully rural escape in the heart of Shakespeare’s country
Lying in the countryside, within a short stroll of pretty Bidford-on-Avon, Oosland Barns is a charming collection of rural barns, thoughtfully re-purposed and transformed into comfortable holiday accommodation. There are four barns to choose between, from oh-so romantic Swifts Retreat, which is perfect for a couple with a king-size bedroom and a private hot tub, to Cider House and Combine Shed which can sleep four guests in each. The last cottage, Siskin Barn is the largest of the group and sleeps nine in four bedrooms. The Cider House and Combine Shed each have a private hot tub, where you can relax as night falls and stargaze to your heart’s content under the dark rural skies. These cottages can be booked together as The Brambling.
Spend your days exploring Stratford-upon-Avon, William Shakespeare’s birth and indeed his resting place, and discover a thriving town packed with superb places to eat and drink, independent shops, theatres and attractions. With the River Avon running through town, there are plenty of water-based activities too. Bidford-on-Avon is a quaint village bordered by the River Avon, with some wonderful walks and eating spots and is a 20-minute stroll from Oosland Barns.
These perfectly located barns are also ideal for getting out and about in the Cotswolds, with major attractions including Broadway, Chipping Campden, the Cotswold Farm Park and much more, all within easy reach.
Oosland Barns form part of a family-run arable farm, and your hosts also own and operate a farm shop selling both their own and locally sourced produce, just a short drive from the barns. Throughout the year, there are all sorts of fun and interactive events for families, including pick-your-own sunflowers, corn on the cob and pumpkins and the ever-popular Maize Maze.
