A wedding at The Manor House is a quintessentially Cotswold experience. Built from Cotswold stone and dating back to the 16th century the manor is full of character. The hotel sits on the high street in Moreton-in-Marsh, a quaint market town with a rich history.
Inside you find roaring log fires, arched windows and old beams which line the ceilings. There is a choice of suites for your big day which can host up to 135 guests. The Sezincote is the largest option and also has its own private bar and seating area. Opening out onto both a terrace and the garden there is plenty of space for reception drinks after the ceremony.
The Hidcote suite is slightly smaller with garden views. It is often used for the wedding breakfast following a ceremony in the Sezincote, but can also be an option for more intimate celebrations.
Each option has beautiful features and you can add your own style with unique finishing touches. Colour schemes and any additions such as flowers can bring the room to life.
Outside the grounds become a beautiful outdoor setting for your ceremony. The walled garden has views of the local church and is beautifully maintained. You will find the 300-year-old Mulberry tree standing here. The thatched breeze-house shelters the newly weds and seating for 120 guests can be arranged. You don’t need to worry about the heavens opening either as the Sezincote suite is always set-up as a backup! If you choose an outdoor wedding you also have access to a wing of the hotel with plenty of space to celebrate.
