Black and white buildings, creative and inspiring
Ledbury is a bustling market town, but one that has a strong sense of community and culture. There is an award-winning Poetry Festival, attracting local names as well as famous stars, and various historic points of interest within the town. At the centre of Ledbury is the black and white Grade I listed Market Hall, reportedly designed by the King’s Carpenter John Abel, with work beginning in 1617 and lasting for 50 years. To this day, it holds a regular market and often hosts creative workshops.
