Overview

Moments away from the centre of Moreton-in-Marsh, this cottage is tucked away for a peaceful break exploring this area. It is a fantastic hub for couples, friends or a small family to enjoy in between Cotswold adventures.

This cottage has a wonderful layout, made for spending time together but with quiet corners if you’d prefer to retreat. An open plan living area is warmed by a woodburner effect stove and opens out to the garden so you can bring the outdoors in during the summer months. Sit together to share stories and eat meals together alongside a garden view. The kitchen has a splash of colourful personality and is very well-equipped for your stay. Tucked away at the end of the house is an office which acts as the third bedroom with a sofa which extends into a double bed. Upstairs two king-size bedrooms and two bathrooms ensure you have enough space.

You will want to spend as much time as you can in the enclosed courtyard garden. No matter the weather you can sit at the dining area beneath the gazebo with a barbecued feast or to indulge in treats picked up from the local bakery. A great addition to Old Orchard Cottage is the off-road parking spaces so you don’t need to worry about finding a space in the centre of town.

I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Check-in was easy, everything was spotless, and the cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The beautiful backyard was a lovely place to relax, and the air conditioning in every room was an absolute lifesaver during the heatwave. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

Hege

The cottage was immaculately clean, super well equipped and very well located for the centre of Moreton in the Marsh.
Communications were excellent. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Verified Up Front Reviews
We really enjoyed our holiday at ,Old Orchard. The weather property has everything provided that you could possibly need whilst away on holiday. Loved the fact there was a washing machine a great asset to have. Lots of bathrooms. Lovely spacious bedroom with en-suite, which was lovely. Great sized Kitchen, loved the two sink idea, never seen that before but great idea. Light and airy Lounge-diner. A pretty courtyard garden area which was very clean and had a good amount of garden furniture in also had decorative flower arrangements in.

Linda

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Orchard Cottage! The home was quite comfortable with well-thought-out
amenities for an extended stay. It was clean, with a nice-sized kitchen and fenced private patio and gazebo.

We loved the proximity of the train, city centre, and access to hiking trails and nearby villages amongst the Cotswolds! Our host was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommended if you’re spending a few days or longer in the Cotswolds!

Charming and cosy cottage. It was clean and comfortable with all amenities for an easy stay and the Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. We would definitely return.

A lovely cottage but …

Verified Up Front Reviews
A lovely cottage but the parking is very very tight if you have a big car like a Range Rover you can’t park at the back don’t drive down to the spaces it is very very narrow and you can’t turn round as we discovered. The bath towels are very small bath sheets are much more suitable. The 10 am exit time is too early especially considering how much you charge. 3pm in 10 am out I’m sure it doesn’t take 5 hours to clean. The cleaner went straight in as we left. 12 would have been more acceptable. The bed in main bedroom with the ensuite has a very uncomfortable mattress my husband and I had back ache so not good. We think it needs replacing as it went completely flat when we sat on it unlike the one in the other room which was lovely.

Tracey

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay. We're really pleased to hear that you found the cottage lovely overall. We're sorry to hear about the challenges you experiences with parking. There is enough parking on the drive for 2 cars, and there is also plenty of on-street parking directly outside the front of the cottage. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am, which is industry standard and allows our housekeeping team the necessary time to clean and prepare the cottage thoroughly to a high standard for incoming guests.

Perfect cottage

Verified Up Front Reviews
This cottage is fantastic. Super comfy beds, bedding, sofa etc. If you want to cook, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The courtyard is also very pleasant even in the depths of winter. So lucky to have parking as well. Very quiet location yet just a very short stroll into the high street for lots of options for eating or just a coffee. We will be back.

Awesome property in a great location.
