Set on a stunning 40-acre farm estate you can take long rambling dog walks or follow a bridle way to the renowned Daylesford Organic Farm Shop. Enjoy dinner and drinks at The Fox at Oddington, the local village pub and growing foodie destination also owned by Daylesford. Situated at the very heart of the Cotswolds, you will be perfectly placed to explore.
Built from the honey-coloured stone synonymous with the Cotswolds, these charming cottages are adjacent to one another meaning families and groups can enjoy a getaway together, but also have privacy when desired. The spacious kitchen and living room at Claytons Cottage are fabulous spaces for everyone to gather for meals or sociable evenings, while the Hideaway’s open-plan living and dining room with log-burner is a peaceful location for a couple to retreat to. With Claytons Cottage boasting a king-size and twin bedroom and the Hideaway providing a further king, all with their own en suites, the properties offer flexible sleeping arrangements.
The highlight of Claytons Retreat are the extensive grounds including lawns and woodlands which children can explore, including visiting the resident chickens. The dining terrace at Claytons Cottage with dining table seating six is the perfect spot for al fresco dinners as a group while the Hideaway has a charming patio perfect for a morning coffee.

A large entrance hall for both the front and back door, with storage for shoes, coats and umbrellas.
Living Room:
A spacious, family space with a large log fireplace, comfortable sofas and Smart TV and DVD for streaming your favourite movie or TV show together.
Kitchen/Dining Area:
A spacious, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, juicer, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. A large farmhouse table seats six.

Downstairs cloak room with WC and wash basin.
First Floor
Bedroom One:
A spacious, master bedroom with king-size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers for clothing, as well as its own en suite.
En suite:
The master en suite boasts a bath, shower, wash basin and WC.
Bedroom Two:
A charming twin with two single beds, perfect for children or friends, with a chest of drawers for clothing and its own en suite.
En suite:
A shower room with shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside
Outside the cottage is a fantastic lawn and woodland where children and dogs can run and play to their heart's content. Enjoy a private terrace with dining table seating six for meals on a summer's evening. Follow the private drive down to the Norman church and village, keeping an eye out for local wildlife including roe deer, muntjac, barn owls, bats and hares. The cottage has parking for two cars.

Ground Floor
Living room and dining area:This welcoming open-plan living and dining space offers a two-seater sofa and an armchair for those cosy nights in by the fire. Put a film on the TV, accompanied by a hot chocolate and your favourite company, and enjoy home-cooked meals from the rustic wooden dining table.
Kitchen:
This modern kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a combined washing machine and dryer in the cupboard just outside of the kitchen.
Cloakroom:
There is a downstairs cloakroom complete with a WC and basin.
First Floor
The first floor is accessible via a spiral stone staircase.Bedroom:
A king-size bed features in the stylish bedroom space. There are two bedside tables with lamps, an armchair and a dressing room area.
En-suite bathroom:
This room contains a bath, overhead shower, heated towel-rail, full-length mirror, WC and basin.

Claytons Retreat is simply spoilt for choice when it comes to a fabulous farm shop nearby. You can walk to the renowned Daylesford Organic, a luxury farm shop experience with restaurants on site as it is just a mile from the property along a bridleway. Bruern Farm Shop and Café sell the wonderful produce from its own farm as well as a full range of products by Fifield Road Apothecary. Bledington Shop & Cafe is an award-winning community shop and cafe that sells produce and treats created by locals including Old Orchard Gin that is made with local botanicals. Stow and Chipping Norton have a great choice of restaurants, cafes and independent shops and boutiques and both have supermarkets for grocery shopping.
Eating Out:
- The Fox at Oddington - part of the renowned Bamford collection with a menu serving the Daylesford Farm's seasonal produce (0.7 miles walk from the property).
- The Kings Head, Bledington - an award-winning 16th century inn with atmospheric furnishings, real ales, delicious food and situated right on a picturesque stream (2.5 miles).
- Kingham Plough - beautiful interior and modern-British menu with a Mediterranean touch (2.4 miles).
- The Porch House in Stow - not only Britain’s oldest inn but home to the finest British fare for miles around (3.4 miles).
Walks:
From the estate you can follow a bridle way for 1 mile to Daylesford Organic to browse the fabulous farm shop or stop for a bite to eat in either of its two restaurants (1 mile). Alternatively walk through rolling countryside and quiet lanes to the picturesque village of Bledington, known for its traditional village green and lovely pub with a stream running through its garden (2.5 miles).

- Although not for guest use, there is an outdoor pool nearby on the owner's property so children and dogs should be supervised at all times. Guests have access to the fields and woodlands near the cottages and long drive, however the areas surrounding the owner's residence are private.
