Holiday cottages for February Half Term
Escape to the Cotswolds for a fabulous family-friendly half term
It hardly seems possible – the Christmas festivities are barely over, the decorations only just back in the box, and yet the next set of school holidays, the February half term is already looming large.
The Cotswolds is one of the best family-friendly destinations for a February half-term holiday. During the cold, crisp days you can get the whole family out in the fresh air for bracing walks through the beautiful countryside and, you never know, you might even get a magical sprinkling of snow. If the weather turns wet, retreat inside to one of our welcoming boltholes and let your children’s imagination run riot. New places to explore become perfect hidey-holes for games of hide and seek, whilst large dining tables are just the right place for creative crafting activities. Perhaps get them painting a picture of their favourite Cotswold experience – we’d love to see the results!
A number of our holiday cottages have indoor games rooms with ping pong and pool tables, and most have large Smart TVs, so you can gather together and snuggle up in front of the fire for your own movie nights.
During the winter months there are still plenty of fun activities to enjoy, particularly during the school holidays. One of our favourite excursions is wrapping up warm and heading to Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park. Lambing season at this rare breed’s farm starts in February and is a very special time to visit.
