Winner of the Growth Award

We were finalists for two awards at this year’s GloucestershireLive Business Awards – Small Business of the Year and the Growth Award, which we were thrilled to win. The Awards celebrated their 25th anniversary this year and honour the region’s best businesses and the people behind them. We are delighted to have won the prestigious Growth Award, which recognises a growing business that has taken tangible steps to increase its scale and impact, which was presented by Iwan Thomas MBE at a gala ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Winner of the Small Business of the Year Award

We were finalists for three awards at this year’s SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards – Growth Business of the Year, the Customer Excellence Award and Small Business of the Year – which we won! The Awards celebrate the county’s leading businesses and we are over the moon to have been awarded Small Business of the Year 2023, which recognises a business’ all-round success.

Winner of Best Holiday Cottage Rental Agency 2023 – South West England

We are over the moon to have won Best Holiday Cottage Rental Agency for the second year in a row at the LUXlife Resorts & Retreats Awards 2023. LUXlife launched the Resorts & Retreats Awards almost a decade ago to recognise those who have devoted themselves to delivering the finest experiences, products and services all around the world.

The LUXlife judging panel and research team consider the commitment to customer service, guest experience and innovation shown by nominees and Bolthole Retreats is elated to have been recognised as Best Holiday Cottage Rental Agency in the South West region again this year.

We are delighted to have won Holiday Home Rental Agency of the Year for the second year in a row at the Central England Prestige Awards. The team invited its readers and subscribers to nominate businesses that have outperformed in their area for the past 12 months and reviewed everything from recent feedback of clients to consistency in product performance.

The Prestige Awards team saw Bolthole Retreats as the strongest entry for the region, particularly in how positive our clients are about us and recognising the value of what we do.

Our Managing Director Rebekah England has won Most Influential Holiday Rental MD 2023 at the Managing Director of the Year Awards. The Awards, run by SME News, shine a light on those who have shown true excellence in leadership, commitment and determination.

Nominee For Best Company for UK Holiday Home Rentals

We were thrilled to be a nominee for this year’s British Travel Awards for Best Company for UK Holiday Home Rentals. The Awards feature the UK’s best travel companies and to recognise the achievements of SMEs, such as ourselves, this category is graded by size including large, medium and small self-catering accommodation providers who specialise in UK holiday properties.

Finalist for Micro Business of the Year

Bolthole Retreats was shortlisted as a finalist for the SoGlos Business Awards 2022, as the Micro Business of the Year. This category is open to businesses that have up to 10 employees that can demonstrate all-round success. We were delighted to be in the running alongside some wonderful Gloucestershire businesses.

Best Leisure Property Management Company Finalist

To qualify for The Shortyz 2022 final shortlist as the Best Leisure Property Management Company, we had to demonstrate portfolio growth, effective marketing strategies, staff development and tangible benefits to consumers. The Shortyz Awards are known for their high calibre of entries, and we are honoured to have reached the finals, and congratulate all of the other companies who won and also reached the finals for their categories.

Business Champions Finalist

We were thrilled to reach the finals in the Town & County Business Champions 2022. As a local business with under 50 employees, Bolthole Retreats was eligible for this award that celebrates outstanding success over the previous 12 months, with a focus on how as a team we come together to tackle any challenge. We are incredibly proud of our position for 2022 and look forward to the years ahead.
