Created over 100 years ago by Heather Muir, the gardens were designed as a number of different outdoor spaces. These free-flowing areas were allowed to develop organically. This gives the female-designed garden a uniqueness compared to the strict lines of other formal gardens.

It is this ease and welcoming of nature’s free will which makes this such a special place to hold your wedding. To keep the magic alive, the number of weddings held here is closely controlled. During Spring, Summer and early Autumn, exclusive use of the gardens and grounds is restricted to one reception a week. You can be sure your day will live long in the memory of all your guests and will leave them in wonder and awe.

Sitting high in the Cotswolds, above the pretty village of Mickleton, the gardens take in far-reaching countryside views. From the Vale of Evesham to the undulating ripple in the distance of the Malvern Hills you are surrounded by the splendour of this area. The gardens include a summerhouse sitting behind a semi-circular pond which is a simply stunning spot. There are also wild gardens, rose borders, the contemporary water garden and areas of woodland. You will find spectacular settings for the most perfect wedding photos.

You are able to make your own food and drink choices but the team at Kiftsgate are on hand to help with suggestions. Marquees can host up to 250 guests, but Kiftsgate Court Gardens are equally enchanting for more intimate gatherings. With a number of ancient churches nearby the gardens are ideally located. There is also plenty of parking and easy access to the railway network, Kiftsgate is a wonderful Cotswold wedding venue.
