Tucked into the beautiful Cotswold hills is Sudeley Castle. A living, breathing castle and family home that tells the story of more than 1,000 years of history. This is a truly spectacular setting for your wedding and throughout the magnificent grounds and gardens are myriad options where your celebration can take place. The impressive Orangery and historic Old Coach House offer a flexible and versatile space which can accommodate up to 150 guests in style, with spacious dining and entertaining areas, while the large terrace and outdoor bar can host many more guests. The Old Coach House is steeped in history and, with an open fire, is a wonderful space for winter weddings. It can host 80-100 guests.
For a more traditional setting St Mary’s Church has been beautifully refurbished and creates an enchanting atmosphere. The chapel lies in the heart of the gardens and can accommodate up to 130 guests. It is an exquisite space in which to make your vows.
Within the privacy of the castle, the Dent-Brocklehurst family library is available for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. Available for a maximum of 45 guests, it is the perfect setting for an intimate and bespoke occasion.
There are also several wonderful areas throughout the castle grounds that are tailor-made for an outdoor ceremony including the romantic Tythe Barn ruins and the gorgeous rose garden.
