The Fox Inn is a real hidden gem in Broadwell. It’s found on the pretty village green between Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold and if you are in search of a warm and welcoming, quintessentially Cotswolds village pub, then look no further. This charming pub is popular with locals and visitors, is family-friendly, and serves excellent food. The Fox Inn also offers a great range of real ales, ciders, spirits and wine and you can bring your favourite (well-behaved), four-legged friend, too. During the summer months, the pub has a large garden, which is a lovely spot to while away a few hours on a sunny afternoon. In the winter you can relax and cosy up in front of the open fire.
Eagle-eyed fans of the cult TV drama Father Brown may recognise the setting. The Fox Inn has been used in several episodes and transformed into various guises of a 1950s hostelry as both the Pig & Whistle and The Red Lion.
