Just on the edge of Cheltenham, Dunkertons Park has evolved from a premier organic cidery into one of the region’s most popular outdoor hangouts. Centered around a stylish courtyard of fire pits and reclaimed timber, it has a relaxed, “come as you are” energy that makes it a true local leveller. It’s the kind of place where hikers in muddy boots and cyclists stopping for a mid-ride brew sit happily alongside those dressed up for a weekend lunch. Whether you’re in your Sunday best or your oldest wellies, you’ll fit right in.

While Dunkertons has been perfecting organic cider and perry since 1980, this Cheltenham base is now a significant social anchor for the area. The Cider Bar remains the heart of the park, hosting everything from live music to seasonal masterclasses and tours for those who want to see how their award-winning blends are made.

The onsite shop focuses on curated, local gifting. Their signature wooden crates can be personalised to order, filled with your own selection of organic ciders and deli finds – perfect for stocking up your holiday cottage pantry.

The atmosphere really comes alive in the courtyard, fueled by some of the best street food in the Cotswolds. You can pair a pint of ‘Black Fox’ with a wagyu smash burger from The Woozy Pig, authentic flavours from Bombay Street Food Co, or a wood-fired slice from Sourdough Pizza Co.

Insider Tip: The park is a victim of its own success and can get very busy. The early bird definitely catches the worm here; arrive before 10am to enjoy the morning quiet with a coffee and a fresh, buttery pastry from La Boulangerie Artisan before the afternoon crowds descend!
