Blenheim Palace

Arts & Culture Experience

Blenheim Palace is a world-class visitor attraction with a variety of cultural and sporting events regularly scheduled. It is over 300 years old and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family, and was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

The palace itself is surrounded by over 90 acres of formal gardens, including the Water Terraces, Rose Garden and the Duke’s private Italian Garden. Children will enjoy the miniature train that runs back and forth between the Pleasure Gardens and the Palace, and adults and children alike will find hours of fun in the Marlborough Maze which is two miles in length and made-up of hundreds of yew trees.

To note: There are dog-friendly, wheelchair and pushchair friendly walks around the gardens.

Listen to an audio tour of The Palace State Rooms to discover the incredible history behind the artefacts on display.
