Cromhall

Active Experience

Add some excitement and try something new as a family, group of friends or join a mixed group of learners at bear + wolf where stand up paddleboarding is a way of life. If you’ve never tried SUP (stand up paddleboarding) before, this is a great place to get the hang of it. The 9.5 acres of crystal-clear steady waters at Cromhall Quarry provide an idyllic location where the bear + wolf team will look after you.

Beginner sessions start with a briefing on land before you get to grips with paddling on the water. Paddle boards and buoyancy aids are included, but bring your own wetsuit if possible. Bear + wolf will ensure you leave with some photos of your experience. It is an incredibly relaxing sport, even if you don’t manage to stand, but we’re sure you will with a session here. After your beginner lesson you can head back for a boost session to build your confidence. Improving your skills you’ll then be ready to head off on your own to other paddle boarding spots in the Cotswolds. It’s a wonderful way to spend time with your family and is great fun.

During the summer, bear+wolf offer weekend bookings for lessons and you can visit for a come and play paddle. During these there is no set structure and you can paddle to your hearts content. An instructor will be on the water in case you have any questions.

Join a morning SUP yoga class if you’re feeling even more adventurous. You’ll use the paddleboard as your floating yoga mat and put your balance to the test. It’s perfect for beginners and more experienced paddleboarders or yoga fans and we can guarantee it will be fun!

Are you staying in the Cotswolds for a special occasion? Bear+wolf can also cater for events, get in touch with them to discuss your plans.

To note: bear + wolf are recognised as a Red Paddle CO School and a member of BSUPA.

Discover SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) in a beautiful landscape. Or, for something different, try SUP Yoga.
