Active Experience
Try something you’ve never done before and join the wing-walking team at AeroSuperBatics. Flown by an experienced wing walking display pilot, take to the skies on the top wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane. You will feel the wind through your hair as you experience flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives, and banks.
On your first flight you are strapped in above the propeller of one of their five 1940s planes, and as the engine rumbles to life you start to feel the adrenaline flowing. Your view from here will be spectacular while the 3 metre propeller whirs in front of you. You will take off from their private airfield near Cirencester where they have a 100% safety record having been established in 1984. There’s a lot of experience behind what they do!
Your friends and family can watch as you zoom past in this idyllic setting, hearing the 450hp engine as they take a couple photos of you to remember this experience. So that you get the most of your flight, you will discuss the tricks the pilot will perform beforehand. Choose between a more graceful ride to take in the view or feel the heart racing speeds. After your first flight, if you’re begging for more, you can then sign up to their Loop the Loop experience. This will certainly be unlike anything you’ve done before. You can do a single loop, or the full aerobatic display following its tumbling routine experiencing positive and negative G-force.
This is a unique experience, and one that is perfect for any adrenaline junkie. You can really see this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from a new angle, upside down in the sky! If you prefer having your feet on the ground, you can also attend one of the team’s air shows and witness their skills from a safe distance.
To note: Spectators and dogs on a lead are welcome. Height limit is 6’2” and weight limit 15 stone. Minimum age is 18. Wear comfortable, warm clothes.
