Banbury Walking and Cycling Guide
Discover the magic of the Rollright Stones
Banbury is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with miles of footpaths to follow. This area of Oxfordshire is very rural, and the town makes for a great base to enjoy a refreshing drink afterwards. Some of the sightseeing highlights include the Oxford Canal, Spiceball Country Park, and the River Cherwell. Or perhaps try to uncover the meaning of the mysterious Rollright Stones – these three prehistoric enigmas all date from a different century and nobody knows what they represent (yet).
