Follow the road down to the Village Hall and turn left. At the end of this road head right and follow this route around to the left. You will then pass a lane on your right before finding a footpath heading off through the fields alongside some farm buildings. Follow this path uphill, staying left at a t-junction. Continue up until you reach the top of the hill where you can rest a while to take in the view. You will then double back on yourself before heading right across the fields to join a more established path which becomes Woollas Hill then Lampitt Lane back into Bredons Norton.

Very comfortable cottage with a lovely garden

Verified Up Front Reviews
We enjoyed our break in the Cotswolds at Rose Cottage. The cottage is a good size for 6 people and very comfortable. The downstairs bedroom and wetroom was a bonus for our group. The garden is well looked after and a lovely quiet place to sit and enjoy the sun.

A quiet and peaceful retreat

Verified Up Front Reviews
Rose Cottage is situated in a picturesque and quiet village but with easy access to everything we wanted to get to. On arrival we found a basket of treats that were very welcome and much appreciated. Everything was extremely clean, the beds very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped with everything we could possibly need, a snug and sitting room gave us plenty of space and the french doors from the sitting room opened out onto a lovely little private garden with tables and chairs. The two upstairs bedrooms are a good size and the downstairs bedroom has been thoughtfully designed for anyone with limited mobility. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend. The only thing I would suggest is that instructions for altering the heating settings, especially for the downstairs bedroom, would be useful.

a rose of a cottage

We had the most wonderful few days at Rose cottage and loved every minute. The cottage is very well equipped and the linen was beautiful. although we were visiting in April it was warm enough to sit in the garden in the afternoon. my mother was visited by a pheasant whilst she read her book. The downstairs bedroom and wet room were perfect for my parents. Having the two lounges enabled us to have space from each other when needed. As our son has moved locally I have no doubt that we will return.

One of the best homes I’ve stayed in for its comfort, decor, size , surroundings and host communication. Best getaway for a peaceful week in beautiful Cotswolds.

Absolutely perfect house in a beautiful area with everything you could possibly need.

Having stayed in a lot of holiday homes across the country, this is by far the most immaculate, spotless, thoughtfully laid out house I've ever rented. The welcome basket was extremely generous and really provided everything you could need for the first evening and next morning if you arrive late with no provisions. Everything has been thought of. The ground floor bedroom and wet room were perfect for my 92 year old mother and the beds were honestly one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in (I'd love to know what make they were as I would be tempted to buy one). The entire house is built to a very high spec and everything, from the sofas to the towels were excellent quality, with attention to detail everywhere. If I had to find any faults it would only be that there were no normal drinking glasses, just some small plastic ones and that there is one small step into the larger living room that is potentially quite dangerous when everything else is on a level and it's in a darker corner. Perhaps it could be highlighted in some way. However, that is just nit-picking as it was really as close to perfect as it could be. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend highly.

Fabulous weekend

Verified Up Front Reviews
The best Cotswold cottage rental we have ever stayed in, the attention to detail from the owners is outstanding. Had a slight issue with the WiFi when we arrived, my sister messaged the owner and he helped us to sort it straight away, great service. Great location to be able to get to all the different villages and very private. Perfect for a large family with children, numerous communal areas so that we could all be together but we also had plenty of space, we would 100% return. Thank you for having us :)

Michael

Perfect stay for visiting the Cotswolds.

Verified Up Front Reviews
Perfect gelegen.
