Your quiet surroundings make this the perfect retreat where walkers can explore, families can spend time together and food fanatics can dine in the beautiful country pubs. Everything you need is here with a woodburner for the winter months and a cheerful garden for lazing in the sun. Finished to a high-standard with tranquil decor, returning to Hare Cottage at the end of a day spent exploring this picturesque region of the Cotswolds is a delight.
Full Description
Hidden along winding country lanes, Hare Cottage is nestled amongst beautiful scenery. With popular days out practically on your doorstep and a host of wildlife flitting by you don’t need to go far to get a taste of Cotswold life.

Touches of the history of this cottage have been retained from the hook and latch doors to beams in the bedrooms. It’s a charming example of an English home where you will feel welcomed. The ground floor is split between a kitchen/diner, cosy sitting room and a utility. You’ll find space to eat together in the kitchen, but the nearest pub is just a short walk away if you fancy a night off from cooking. Gather around the fire for long conversations in the living room and make time for board games together. Rest and relaxation is the focus here with tranquil bedrooms and all the facilities you could need.

The garden is an oasis of lush greenery with an enclosed lawn perfect for games, picnics and letting the dogs out. A table and chairs gives you space to make the most of times outside with a BBQ and meals. Just beyond your garden is Westonbirt Arboretum where miles of tree-lined walking routes can be followed. Head into Tetbury for the day, visit the gardens of royal Highgrove and if you want to elevate your relaxation, book a luxurious treatment at Calcot Spa.

Ground Floor

Entrance Hall
Set down your luggage, take off your coats and shoes and relax, you can take your time to explore Hare Cottage and make yourselves comfortable. The entrance hall has plenty of space to stash everything away so you can feel at home.

Kitchen/Diner
Embracing the country cottage style, the traditional shaker-style kitchen will suit your needs, whether you’ll just be having breakfast here, or looking to have family dinners together. With an oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and more it is well-equipped.
The dining table can seat five and is also great for spreading out the maps or playing a board game together after dinner.

Sitting Room
At the end of the day you can recharge beside the fire. Bring through the wine glasses or have a comforting cup of tea as you discuss your day and just relax in front of the telly. There are a selection of books to take your pick from and a sofa, armchair and window seat give you a choice of where you want to curl up.

Utility/Boot Room
If you’ve taken the dogs out for a walk, the utility is made for drying off damp fur and leaving your walking boots. Opening straight to the garden it has a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer so you won’t need to worry about taking muddy clothes back home with you. There’s even a fridge/freezer in here to make sure you’ve got plenty of storage space.
