Super retreat
Ideally situated off the High street. Added bonus of parking space off the road. Short walk to High Street shops and eating places. Decorated and furnished to a high standard. Smelt lovely on entry. Well equipped for self catering. Loved the Alexa technology. Had a struggle with the door into the cottage initially but the maintenance lady Donna replied quickly.
Could do with an extra plug in the bedroom by the mirror so that a hairdryer etc could be used in front of the mirror. The shower is quite snug if you are on the larger side. Nicely laundered bedding and towels.
All in all a lovely stay at Crafty Cottage. Looking forward to booking again.

Short break in the Cotswolds
Crafty Cottage provided just what we needed for a few days break in the Cotswolds. Easy access to Chipping Camden high street was much appreciated, as was the dedicated off street car parking space. The house was comfortable and clean. A few more pieces of crockery and cutlery would've been appreciated!

Crafty Cottage was the perfect bolt hole
The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. A well appointed kitchen makes it easy to self cater but there are some lovely options to eat out just around the corner on the high street, Huxleys and Michaels Mediterranean are very good.
Having a dedicated parking space right outside the front door was a big bonus. Everything about the cottage was cosy and comfortable, especially the bed. Would suit a summer or winter stay.
Have already recommended Crafty Cottage to several friends and will definitely come back.

Perfect Short Stay
We recently stayed at Crafty Cottage in the village of Chipping Campden along with our dog. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable, exceptionally clean and very well positioned for walks, shops and all the pubs and restaurants in the village which are all dog friendly. There are a number of other villages that are just a short drive away.
I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again or book other accommodation with Bolthole Retreats.

Perfectly located cottage
Crafty Cottage was perfectly located for exploring Chipping Campden and surrounding area. The cottage had been very recently refurbished and redecorated and was very well equipped. The parking space was a bonus. Housekeeping responded quickly when we had a problem working out heating controls. The only niggle was the shower cubicle which we found very small but otherwise a lovely cottage and would definitely recommend. PS. There is no longer a downstairs loo although it is still in the description!

A great stay
Loved the cottage everything was as it should be. Well equipped & very cosy. Just a point of note, the enclosed garden isn't accessed straight from the door maybe good to know if you have a dog as we did.

Fabulous Cotswold Cottage
A wonderful cottage from which to explore the Cotswolds. Situated around the corner from the high street with its own car spot means you can have your car right by your door and not worry about how busy Chipping Campden may be. The high street is a beautiful street filled with great pubs and speciality shops. We loved Lygon Arms, Noel Arms and the Eight Bells for the great food and dynamic atmosphere. There is a world renowned Silversmith in the building next door, which welcomes visitors to their workshop and an art gallery featuring an eclectic display of art, pottery and craft in the same building along with a fabulous coffee shop shop. We have stayed at Crafty Cottage 8 times including this one - we will be back again.

A lovely cosy cottage
The cottage is conveniently located a couple of minutes from shops, pubs and restaurants. It was such a cosy cottage with the added bonus of a Christmas tree, which was a nice touch. We couldnt find anything to fault with our stay and would definitely consider staying there again if we visit Chipping Campden again.

Romantic stay in the Cotswolds
Beautiful cottage! Cosy country feel but with up to date and modern feel also. Perfect for a couple. Had absolutely everything we needed. Parking was ideal and such fab location to the gorgeous high street with lots of little pubs and cafes along with little shops to explore. Great location and no further than 15-30 mins drive from all of the locations we wanted to visit (SOTW, Bibury, BOTW, Burford & Clarksons Farm) we dont usually stay in the same place twice but we both said we absolutely would!

Great place to stay in Chipping Campden Cotswold
We enjoyed our several night stay in Crafty Cottage. The place was clean, roomy, quiet in a great location in Chipping Campden. We could walk to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also, great walking in the area. The hosts provided very useful information, including walking trail maps. The location was perfect for exploring other towns in the Cotswolds.
The only low spot was the communication from the host. There was utility construction in front of the cottage which had us lose our oarking spot for 3 days and electric power for a day. When I first noticed the road closed signs I messaged the host to see what was going on and never heard back. We know from neighbors that owners were notified about a month earlier of the road closure and electricity disruption, so we know the hosts were aware. It was disappointing we were totally ignored with no information. We had to work with the construction crew to figure out what was happening, including when we would get power back

Good position in town. Internal decor tired and needs updating. Kitchen worktops sticky, obviously not cleaned properly, mugs dirty. Customer service poor on arrival. Over priced.

Cottage very well located & a big advantage having off road parking space! Comfortable & clean although surprised there was no welcome pack (eg milk etc) & no toiletries in the bathroom (shower gel). No towel provided in downstairs loo. Chipping Campden very pretty & some very good eateries within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay & exploring the local area.

My wife and I stayed at Crafty Cottage for a few days for our wedding anniversary recently, and we had an absolutely fantastic stay. Everything about the property is 10/10 - the location is just a 30 second walk to the beautiful Chipping Campden high street, the cottage is wonderfully appointed, cosy and clean, dedicated parking space incredibly handy, easy check-in process, and great value for money. For the winter months the wood-burner is also a major boon! We would come back again in a heartbeat.

A brilliant stay
Crafty Cottage is within easy reach of the centre of Chipping Campden. This village is breathtakingly beautiful and has all the amenities you might need. It is perfectly placed in the centre of many Cotswolds attractions. The cottage is very well designed internally with the bedroom a particular delight. The fact that there was a private garden was the icing on the cake; it was perfect for a lazy breakfast or relaxing evening with a glass of wine. We would love to visit again.

Cosy Cottage
Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2025. Crafty cottage is very cosy, with a very comfortable king size bed and well equiped kitchen. Private space for parking right beside cottage. Its located on a side street just off Chipping Campden main street so very handy to the shops and restaurants. Only downsides for me was the traffic noise from road, the very limited outside seating area and the uncomfortable 2 seater sofa.
