Excellent location in lovely village, handy places for dog walking, near to plenty to visit and walk. Pub across the lane superb. Glorious rear garden and views. Only detraction was state of outdoor table which prohibited the 10 of us eating there together in the fine weather didn't really. Additionally drapes around 4-poster bed were quite ripped. Otherwise house is fabulous and very well equipped.

Many thanks to Fiona and her team for the use of your lovely farmhouse. We really enjoyed the house and garden, the friendly local pub and the great countryside and towns.

John

Gorgeous old house, full of character. Snooker table & Sonos system was a winner with younger elements of the party. Local pub across the road was brilliant for drink, food & entertainment. Using the Aga was an experience. Brilliant kitchen facilities for the size of the party.

We have just stayed at Beaufort Farmhouse, a group of 4 couples who met on a cruise 14 years ago and remained good friends. From the booking process everything went perfectly, the farmhouse is beautiful, the owner was very approachable and friendly, nothing was too much trouble! A special thank you to the neighbour for letting us in and showing us around, offering her assistance if needs be. The Angel pub for a delicious Sunday lunch. We had a fabulous long weekend. Thank you so much.

It was a privilege to stay in a Grade 11 Jacobean House with a number of original features and tastefully modernised. The kitchen was well equipped and dining facilities were excellent so you could comfortably dine in or out in the garden.Grosmont is a lovely village and the house overlooks interesting Church and also Grosmont Castle is a stones throw away and the local pub is even nearer. It was too hot for much walking but lovely views from the surrounding hills and several interesting churches and castle ruins not far. We made friends with several people in the village.

We stayed as a family with 6 adults, a child and a baby and every one of us loved the place. The house has so much character, but also a lot of space if anyone wants some quiet time Location is fabulous, a small village, you are close to the pub, shop, castle and plants if walks Situated between Abergavenny and Hereford gives you plenty to do within a short drive

Superb location and a lovely home full of character

We were very lucky to have glorious sunny weather. The house is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Our hostess, Fiona, was welcoming and obviously keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed BBQs in the delightful courtyard garden, which has some beautiful shrubs and some quirky statues. During the day, we discovered some stunning scenery on our walks, with visits to castles and the ruins of an impressive abbey. Evenings were spent in the cosy sitting room playing board games beside a log burning fire. It was a perfect week creating some very happy memories.

A perfect place for a family celebration

Verified Up Front Reviews
We loved this house so much - it provided us with the perfect venue to have our family gathering to celebrate my husband's 70th and it was an addd bonus that I got to have all children around me on Mother’s Day. We were blessed with perfect weather so were able to spend time in your lovely garden; we managed to relax around the fire a couple of evenings but your lovely kitchen provided the perfect place for us to cook up a feast every night. The house is in such a beautiful spot with amazing views and I loved having the church in our garden. Having such a great pub so close was great too …….. but the castle !!! Wow!!! We couldn’t keep away!!! Our grandsons loved playing tig and hide and seek up there with us all! I haven’t even mentioned the luxury of the bedrooms and bathrooms. My husband and I were in the loft - what a treat! The house is so well furnished with beautiful pictures, antiques books etc etc. I always love having fresh flowers too!

A beautiful stay

Verified Up Front Reviews
We had a beautiful stay at Beaufort Farm House recently as a surprise 60th birthday celebration for my mum. We were a group of 8 with two children. It was a truly stunning property in a breath-taking setting. So peaceful and tranquil. From the magnificent views, to the quirky stairs and rooms, the house was simply amazing and we couldn't fault any aspect of our stay. Whilst we did have a slight miscommunication at the beginning (very minor) this was brilliantly resolved by the owner, Fiona. We had great contact and nothing was too much trouble from our first communications, during our stay and afterwards. The house is very old and has so much character and is beautifully decorated. The old spiral stairs, beautiful fireplace and pool table made the house that extra special! Our mum had an incredible time for her birthday at Beaufort. We will certainly be back to create more family memories.
