Weekend stay

Great house for a large family group. Use of facilities eg tennis very much enjoyed. Good for dog walking though garden sadly not secure for them with sheep next door

An absolute gem

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday and the farmhouse was perfect. Exceptionally clean, great size rooms, well equipped, lots of parking and perfect location. Honestly couldnt recommend highly enough and wouldnt hesitate to go back. Every morning fresh pastries and bread were delivered and the welcome pack had everything we needed which was a really great and well thought out touch. The house is also set in grounds with a B&B and a campsite and a great cafe. Its a truly great set up and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Oh and importantly the beds were super comfy and no noise at night. 10/10!

Fabulous 3 night farmhouse break

We were a group of international work colleagues who are friends and enjoyed a fabulous 3 might stay at Banbury Hill Farmhouse.
The traditional farmhouse is beautiful and fully equipped with everything anyone could possibly need.
Throughout the house it has high quality furnishings, which are modern and spotlessly clean, as well as lots of thoughtful extras like throws if its a bit chilly but you want to sit outside, books, board games and garden games etc.
our lovely hosts were welcoming even though we arrived much later than planned after a delayed flight (almost 11pm) and to our surprise the house was stocked with lots of goodies including fresh eggs, fruit, milk, bacon, sausages, orange juice, homemade jam, shortbread cookies, bread and even a homemade lemon cake and more
.
Every morning we received fresh warm bread and pastries which were delivered to our door in a whicker basket and as we opened our bedroom curtains all we could see was beautiful countryside and wildlife as well as lambs, sheep and donkeys which we could watch as we ate breakfast from the huge dining room.
Without exception every one of us highly recommend Banbury hill farm and especially the farmhouse - although there are also smaller cottages and b&b options available.
Staying at Banbury hill farmhouse was fabulous and we all agreed we will return again soon.
Location wise the farm is ideally placed to visit the Cotswold villages just a short drive away
For those who dont want to drive there is a cafe/ coffeehouse on site and plenty of countryside to walk in.
Just perfect!

Second time my husband has been to this venue for a team meeting. Fantastic welcome pack, well equipped...smart, clean...just great. And the 3 lambs in the field provided endless entertainment!

Family gathering.

This was our second visit and it didn't disappointment. We are a family with ages from 4 to 66 and 2 labradors , the Farmhouse and facilities suited everybody. The morning hampers and the fridge filled with breakfast goodies were first class!
We will return.

Very Happy Christmas House

Great place to stay and enjoy the wonderful Cotswolds. We gathered for a big family Christmas and this is the perfect venue. Warm and cosy but big enough for all of us. We love to cook and the kitchen did not fail us. Space for all the cooks and all the equipment we needed was provided. The dining room is an amazing room for feasting. Weve explored the walks and the disc golf on site. Easy stroll to the pubs in Charlbury and the Christmas lights at Blenheim were spectacular. Weve had a wonderful time and didnt want to leave.

Enjoyed so much have rebooked for next year!

We had a wonderful stay in the Farmhouse and couldnt have asked for a better experience. The house was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The layout was perfect, offering plenty of space while still feeling warm and welcoming.
The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the area or simply unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish friendly, helpful, and responsive.
Overall, this was an outstanding holiday home and exceeded our expectations in every way. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free getaway.

Fantastic find.

The farmhouse was superb. Beautifully furnished, clean and welcoming. Couldn't fault anything. Great views as well.
Carole
Beautiful place. Outstanding. Highly recommended.

Went to Banbury Hill Farmhouse with 2 dogs & 11 members of my family varying in age from 22yrs upwards to celebrate my 70th Birthday & it couldn't have been better. The accommodation was excellent with a beautiful bedroom for everyone & a fantastic dining room, lounge & kitchen. The quality of all the kitchen equipment & furnishing provided real luxury. Everything had been given considerable thought & no matter what we wanted from extra tea towels to a cocktail shaker was provided. The breakfast delivery was superlative & every service person we encountered were wonderful. Beautiful surroundings with plenty to do. Absolutely perfect.

Wonder stay and our favourite place yet

Had the most wonderful stay with my family. Everyone loved it and a continued phrase of 'this is the best place we've ever stayed'. It was extra special from the surprise of arriving and finding so much already provided for us and the treat of fresh pain choc, croissants and baguettes each morning (still warm!!) It was the perfect place for all ages (5 weeks-71), whether we wanted to stay in, go for walks, tennis, disc golf or have a coffee next door. We're hoping to come back for another family gathering in a couple years time.

Perfect House for a Special Family Celebration

We stayed here to celebrate an 80th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect for our family gathering of 14 people and 2 dogs. The house is spacious, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything you could need. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable.
The location is ideal peaceful with lovely woodland walks nearby, and The Old Shed café was a great spot for a coffee. We especially appreciated the delicious cake and generous welcome pack, which far exceeded our expectations. The daily delivery of fresh pastries and breads was a real treat!
We also enjoyed a scenic walk into Charlbury, where we visited the farmers market and some great local pubs. It was a truly memorable stay, and wed highly recommend this house for any special occasion or family get-together.

Husbands 60th birthday

The farmhouse, did not disappoint, beautifully decorated and full of home comforts. Attention to detail was flawless.
They provided full ingredients for English breakfast , cereals and fresh pastries were delivered every morning.
A homemade cake was also welcoming.
A perfect place for a perfect family celebration.
Lorraine
Amazing property. Clean, stylish with everything you could need and more! Opening the curtain to see the sheep and Shetland ponies was lovely. There were lots touches that really made you feel they had gone above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay - the welcome note, pastry deliveries, home baked cake on arrival and the welcome hamper was exceptional -more than expected and well thought out to get you off to a great start. We enjoyed the woodland walks and had great fun with the disc golf.

The house is stunning, beautifully maintained, spacious, and full of character, with plenty of room

We had another wonderful stay at Banbury Hill Farmhouse our group was made up of 9 adults and 3 children. The house is stunning, beautifully maintained, spacious, and full of character, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy.
One of the standout touches was the incredible welcome food pack waiting for us on arrival. It was so thoughtfully put together and included everything we needed to get settled in comfortably, plus a few delicious local treats we werent expecting! The homemade cake was absolutely delicious and such a kind gesture that made us feel instantly at home.
The setting was peaceful and picturesque, with plenty of space for the children to play and for the adults to unwind. Every detail had been considered to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
We can't recommend Banbury Hill Farmhouse enough, it is the perfect spot for a family getaway, and were already talking about when we can return!

We were staying as 4 families of 14 and had a wonderful 3 night stay here. The property is spacious and exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need. The daily breakfast hamper was very well received! The children loved the garden and all the toys/games. We enjoyed some beautiful walks nearby. The scenic walk to Charlbury is great and we visited the recommended great pubs and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this property.

Family Gathering.

We had an amazing time at Banbury Hill Farmhouse. 5 Adults, 2 dogs and 4 children aged 3, 4, 5 and 6. It ticked all our boxes. The Farmhouse is beautiful and has everything you could possibly want, all very high spec. We really enjoyed the woodland walks and used the tennis court, play area, football pitch and zip wire. The children loved seeing the animals. The welcome hamper and daily delivery of bread and pastries was brilliant. It was the prefect venue for our family get together and will return.
Julia
Lovely enjoyable stay

We had a lovely time in a great quality house. Perfect for a group of friends with our families. The fresh food left for us was very kind and it was a great treat to have the basket of pastries each morning. Thanks!
Rosie
The best big house weve ever stayed in

As a geographically dispersed family of 14 we dont get to meet up very often, so staying at the farmhouse was a special event. We comprise grandparents, parents and five children, the youngest five months old.
And we loved it. Great location, wonderful house, plenty of space. Weve stayed in many houses, UK and Europe, and this was votest the best. We felt the owners went above our expectations with the breakfasts and treats they provided. And those of us who cooked had everything we needed to prepare our main meals. (You sometimes find you need a sharp knife, cheese grater or thge like). The fittings and furnishings are all top quality.
Its a bonus having a cafe onsite. The environment is beautiful and walks within easy access.
Thanks to the owners for ensuring we had the right ingredients for a great family experience.

We had an amazing weekend at this gorgeous, well equipped and welcoming farmhouse.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous, well equipped, and welcoming farmhouse, we were a party of nine adults and three children and there was ample room for everyone, each room was a pleasure to be in and the children loved visiting the animals on the farm.
The hospitality was excellent with lovely touches such as the beautiful home cooked cake waiting for us on arrival, which demanded our immediate attention and was delicious. There was a well-stocked fridge with all we could want for breakfast and pastries delivered in the morning.
The house is in an excellent location to visit places such as Woodstock, Blenheim, and the surrounding area. We love the Cotswolds and cannot wait to come back to this farmhouse!
Billy
Absolutely amazing!!!

I booked this stay for a birthday, it was absolutely fantastic. Clean, comfy, beautiful location. The extra touches really made the stay. For example the pastries each morning. The homemade cake on our entry. Fresh juice and items in fridge for us. The location was brilliant. Animals to see all around. Nice little walks. The house itself was spotless!!! Rooms stunning we really could not of asked for more and will definitely be booking again. Cant thank the hosts enough!!

Perfect for a family get-together

We had a wonderful weekend and loved the farmhouse. We found it very clean and comfortable with lots of space for children to play and adults to relax. We arrived to find a delicious cake, pastries, fruit, milk and other provisions had been left for us - much
appreciated. Every morning fresh pastries were delivered and we loved having our breakfast at the big dining table overlooking the field with the duckpond and goats. The farm has The Old Shed cafe, woodland walks, animals to look at, a playground etc so plenty to do onsite as well.
It was a lovely place to spend the weekend and make family memories.
Guest
Beautiful house in lovely location.

We were a group of friends who stayed in the farmhouse for a long weekend. The Farm house has been very well furnished with attention to detail and with a very well equipped kitchen. The house was spotlessly clean. On arrival is a lovely homemade cake and a fridge full of delicious food for breakfasts. Each morning a hamper of fresh bread and pastries is left on your doorstep. The staff on the site were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent for exploring the Cotswolds and we enjoyed watching the goats and ducks on site. Charlbury is a charming village and we had a lovely supper at The Bull.
I could highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent stay

Just a beautiful location and property - the wonderful countryside and surroundings are a real treat. The facilities are second to none and the gifted food each day was beyond delicious!
Jonathan
Great location, beautiful countryside

The farmhouse was ideal for a family of 4 couples and 4 small children. It gave us a choice of bedrooms and living space. The surrounding facilities were excellent for touring caravans and motorhomes, The Old Shed Bar & Restaurant provided facilities to families from the site and the locality.
Nigel
Wonderful Family weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion weekend. As a large group of adults the beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathrooms en suite were wonderful. The spacious lounge and huge dining room were fantastic as we got to enjoy many family meals together. The location was excellent for exploring the Cotswolds. We even managed a game of tennis.
Deborah
Family Celebration

The property is well laid out and extremely clean. Fantastic for exploring the Cotswold. Loved the daily baguette/croissant deliveries. Highly recommend the property and the owners.

Wonderful stay

What a fabulous house! A perfect place for our annual family get together. Ideal for the little ones too, with plenty of things to entertain them close by.
The daily hampers were delicious and very fresh.
Everything was superb, we all loved it!
A minor thing - the first bedroom upstairs on the right had no mirror or stool by the dressing table, so nowhere to dry hair or put make up on. But that was the only thing that prevents me from saying 'perfect!'
Rachel

Fantastic home for country side holiday

We enjoyed 4 fantastic nights staying at the Farmhouse (although wish we couldve stayed far longer)! The home was immaculate and had everything you couldve needed for a large group. The special touch of a freshly baked cake and homemade granola on arrival alongside the bacon, sausages, eggs and juice was amazing. The freshly pastries delivered to the door each morning really made our days. Highly recommend for your Cotswold stay, you wont regret it.
Susan
Beautiful house, perfect for a long weekend with the family

Really beautiful house with absolutely everything we could've needed - the kitchen was very well stocked with pans, crockery and utensils, which was great as we cooked on two of the nights. And having two dishwashers made life a lot easier! The welcome hamper was lovely, particularly the fresh bread and pastries in the mornings.
All the bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully done out and there was plenty of space. The weather was amazing so we spent a lot of time outside, making use of the picnic benches and games provided, and also the tennis court on site.
It was nice to stay in a place which was as lovely in real life as it looked in the photos! Would definitely recommend.
Helen
Lovely place

Excellent stay, loved the house, the location and the pastries! I cant wait to come back, as 3 days wasnt enough!

Banbury Hill Farmhouse

We had a wonderful stay at Banbury Hill Farmhouse. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and is in very good condition. It is in a lovely area and the farm animals on the site were a big draw for the younger members of our group whilst disc golf was a hit with the adults. However, what sets this property apart from others we've stayed at is the generous food provision. We were astounded by the quantity and quality of the food left for us - enough breakfast provisions to cater for a large group for a number of days along with homemade cakes, granola and shortbread along with a large platter of fruit. We had bread and croissants delivered daily and almost had to be rolled away at the end of our stay. A really lovely location for a break and thoughtful owners/hosts who had thought of everything we could need - we'd love to return.
Jo
Wonderful stay with family and friends

Far exceeded all our expectations. Was not expecting the breakfast hamper to be so generous.
All the mod cons made our stay wonderful. Everything is top quality.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
Kayon
Beautiful accommodation

Our stay at The Farmhouse was absolutely wonderful. We were a family of 10 who stayed for 3 nights. The accommodation was spacious, luxurious, clean and beautiful. The welcome pack was fabulous; orange juice, milk, bacon, sausages, fresh fruit, yoghurt and home made cake. The morning fresh baguettes, pan au chocolates and croissants were delicious. We would highly recommend The Farmhouse.
Nicola
A late Christmas celebration for my family

What a fantastic place for a family holiday. We had a wonderful weekend in the farmhouse. The hampers were a big tick from all the family especially my grandson who devoured the chocolate croissant with evidence all over his face and hands. Precious moments and memories will be forever in our hearts from our time in the house. Thank you Bolthole for letting us stay.
Debra
Lovely stay at Banbury Hill

We booked Banbury Hill farmhouse for 13 family members, everyone was impressed and said how lovely it was. Recommended!
Breakfast bread and pastries were 1st class.
Thank you
Simon
Beautiful house near a lovely cotswold village

This property had it all! It was the best equipped house weve stayed at with such a large group and was in a great location. Everyday we received freshly baked pastries and bread, which was a nice touch, and the house came with everything required for a weekend of delicious breakfasts.
The only tiny downside would be that in the height of summer, the camping/caravan park may be really busy which the nearby cafe could become a bit of an issue with noise/people.
Paul
A perfect stay all round

We had a wonderful weekend stay here (7 adults, 2 teens and 3 kids). The place is absolutely incredible. Well furnished, really well equipped (it had a massive slow cooker as well as a toaster maker, wine fridge, etc etc) and was well stocked on arrival (sausages, bread, milk, fruit, bread etc). And every morning fresh pastries and bread delivered to our doorstep! Well situated (we visited rollright stones and crocodile world) and our kids loved the farm animals right outside and visited the goats every day. The teens had their own space in which to quietly retreat and the adults had a good chit chat.
Overall it was perfect for what we wanted and we would for the first time ever seriously consider returning to the same place again!
Guest
Amazing farmhouse, more than we could ever have imagined!

Everything about the farmhouse is just amazing, the interior is luxurious and spotless. It was perfect for my family of 11 including 3 very young children who loved the garden, ducks, goats and sheep and the dinosaur trail through the woods.
Service was faultless with fresh pastries and baguettes delivered every morning, even on the day of leaving.
Absolutely recommend this holiday home!
Vivian
Absolutely fantastic

An amazing farmhouse for our family reunion of 9 adults and 3 young children. We couldn't have wanted for more. All the bedrooms are really comfortable and have plenty of space and most have an ensuite bathroom. The whole house is tastefully decorated and furnished. To top it all the fridge was loaded with sausages, bacon, yoghurt, fresh fruit, butter, milk and homemade fruit compote. We also had a huge tray of eggs, homemade granola, a big homemade cake and every morning a hamper of croissants, pain au chocolat, fluffy pancakes and french bread was brought to us. Lots of games were available and the outdoor ones would have been great if we'd had better weather! Placed on a farm with goats, lambs, ducks, chickens, donkeys, there were plenty of walks and trails. A children's park nearby and a little shop just meant everything was provided. An excellent place to stay.
Mary
Fabulous property

Fantastic property with excellent hosts. The house was set up fabulously with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. They provided lovely fresh pastries and bread each morning and the kitchen was set up with fresh orange juice, granola and sausages.
Would recommend to anyone to stay here.
Caitlin
Long weekend with friends.

The house is stunning with beautiful views. Each room, bathroom & kitchen was spotless with beautiful little touches throughout the house to make it feel really special. Quite close to the campsite behind but it didnt impact us at all - no noise and still felt secluded as the house faces the rolling hills. The staff were so attentive and the fresh breakfast drop off was a highlight for some of the ladies. Would definitely recommend!!
