Woodchester Valley Vineyard is a multi-award-winning, single estate vineyard and winery planted on the steep limestone soils of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located across three sites, covering 58 acres in the Stroud Valleys, it focuses on small production, high-quality still and sparkling wines.
The vineyard is a member of the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain scheme and works hard to reduce its impact on the environment throughout every aspect of the business. Grape varieties it grows include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus, Seyval Blanc and Regent and the range of wines features traditional method sparkling wines and still white and rose wines.
Woodchester Valley welcomes visitors to the vineyard throughout the year for fun and informative vineyard tours, wine tastings and other events. Join one of the regular vineyard tours where you’ll learn about grape growing in the UK, the lifecycle of the vines, the processes for making still and sparkling wines at the winery and of course try a range of their delicious award-winning wines. Or if you fancy something a little different, why not come along for Fizz and Chips, one of the Cheese and Wine Evenings or a Vineyard Tour and Dog Walk? If you are passing, drop into the Cellar Door shop where you can sample and choose from the full range of wines to enjoy during your holiday.
