It’s well worth a day trip to White Heron Estate in neighbouring Herefordshire for a look around the 4th generation working farm estate, home to vineyards, blackcurrant plantations, cider apple orchards — this is the birthplace of the award-winning British Cassis liqueur. A guided e-Bike tour through the diverse landscape takes around 2 hours, and is always led by a knowledgeable guide who will bring the history, heritage and farming practices of the estate to life. You’ll enjoy big views across the Welsh Borders, Herefordshire, the Brecon Beacons, the Malverns and beyond. The eBikes are easy to ride, and make the tour enjoyable for participants with all levels of fitness.

When to visit: Tours are available from April to October with pre-scheduled dates open to sign up to. Groups of 8 or more can arrange private tours by contacting the estate.

White Heron Estate Walking Tour & Tastings

White Heron Estate’s walking tours offer a relaxed and informative way to explore this remarkable North Herefordshire farm. A guide leads groups for around 2 hours through the vineyards, blackcurrant plantations and apple orchards, sharing the history of the estate, the story behind the White Heron drinks range, and the work the farm is doing to support biodiversity and wildlife.

When to visit: Walking tours are available year-round, making them a good option in any season. Prescheduled tour dates are open for booking, as well as groups of 10+ being welcome to book private tours by contacting the estate.

White Heron Estate Padel Court

White Heron Estate has a full-sized padel court set within the estate. The court is bookable by the hour through the PadelMates app, making it easy to arrange before or during your visit.

Padel is a fast-growing racket sport combining elements of tennis and squash, played in doubles on an enclosed court. It is quick to pick up and suits a wide range of ages and abilities, making it a popular choice for groups wanting something active and social.
