The Prince of Burford is a newly refurbished pub converted from an 18th-century coaching inn, which sits which sits at the top of the hill before you head down into the picturesque town of Burford. On the menu you will find locally sourced seasonal dishes, hearty pub classics and a roast on Sundays, with a great selection of award-winning Butcombe beer, wines and cocktails to choose from too. The menus and daily specials also feature Butcombe ales, including its Butcombe Golf beer-battered fish and chips, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. If you’re up early before a day of exploring or walking, choose a treat from the breakfast menu which range from pastries and bacon butties to eggs Royale or a full English.
Inside you’ll find cosy interiors and rustic pub charm with original features throughout, as well as relaxed dining spaces for both intimate meals and larger gatherings. The pub is dog-friendly and child-friendly, with a separate children’s menu available, and also has a sunny beer garden with grass and decked areas, perfect for al fresco summer drinks.
