Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival

The Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival is a fun, food-filled extravaganza, that takes place over one great weekend, in Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens. Gather friends and family together and celebrate all things food and drink. There’s live music, free wine-tasting talks likewise artisan food producers and a whole host of superb demonstrations from some of the country’s leading chefs. Meanwhile, for those looking for a hands-on experience, there are a range of masterclasses available, for an additional fee. These masterclasses generally include wine, cheese, and gin.
The Weber BBQ Stage is unquestionably a place for all things barbecue and hosts an array of demonstrations across the weekend. The Chef’s Kitchen is where you can sit back and relax as you watch talented chefs cook up a storm. The 2023 line-up included Lisa Faulker from Celebrity MasterChef and co-hot of John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen. Plus, Great British Bake Off finalist Chigs Parmar. Local chefs from leading restaurants and hotels also took to the stage to showcase regional food with inspiring demonstrations of creative cooking. Sharing their passion for food and some insider cooking tips. Wine producers brought wonderful stories to life from vineyards around the world and you can expect a range of tastings in everything from gin to craft beers. The festival wine talks and masterclasses are a fun and informative way to expand your knowledge.
Enjoy live music across the weekend, plus a world of entertainment of street theatre and dedicated children’s entertainment. There’s even festival fun included for your dog. When it comes to indulging in some fabulous food and drink there is a fabulous range to choose from. Expect a variety of street food vendors, along with craft beers and cider. Gin, rum, soft drink as well as wine and prosecco bars.
Tickets for the weekend may be pre-booked or purchased on the day. Children under the age of 15 years go free when accompanied by a ticket-paying adult.
