Arts & Culture Experience
Cotswold Photography Tours is a small, independent business based in Gloucestershire run by Andrew and Ann. They strive to showcase the very best of the Cotswolds. The owners have lived in the region their whole lives and know it intimately. Blending their love of walking and photography, their tours and workshops immerse you in the beautiful Cotswolds landscapes.
Their walking tours cover beautiful parts of the country including Painswick, Chedworth Roman Villa, Notgrove and the Slad Valley. The undulating walks offer spectacular opportunities to photograph this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. During these walks your guide offers technical support and guidance on how to get the best possible photo and give you plenty of time to get the perfect shots. A range of different inspirational subject matters present themselves on your walk. Landscapes, historic buildings and local wildlife are all waiting to be captured by your camera.
Alongside the walking tours, to cover more locations Cotswold Photography Tours also offer drive and explore tours. These take you to a number of lesser-known picturesque villages. Take advantage of being away from the crowds of tourists so you can get some quieter images. There are set tour routes available, but you can also arrange a bespoke tour to cover any areas you have a particular interest in.
For something a bit different or to push your photography skills, special events and tours are also available. Full moon workshops are a guide to nighttime photography but are weather dependent as clearer skies make for a better final image. Another option is the dark skies workshop which focuses on photography of the stars which will create stunning images of the landscapes.
A more personal approach is available through one-on-one or small group tuition. The owners share their 30 years of photography experience with you in these practical classes. They take place in nature so you can get the most of your time. Talk to Andrew and Ann to personalise your workshop so it suits your needs.
To note: Tours are bespoke and limited to six people per tour.
