Cotswold Mountain Biking

Active Experience

Do you want to see a different side to the Cotswolds? With a guided mountain bike ride with Cotswold Mountain Biking you can get to know some of the local routes and see the spectacular views from a new vantage point.

Your personalised trail takes into account your riding experience and interests. It’s an exhilarating way to see more of the Cotswolds and to get off the beaten track.

Your guide is Tim, a very experienced rider who has been following the Cotswold trails for over 20 years. He is a qualified mountain bike leader with British Cycling, certified in outdoor first aid and child protection in sport and active leisure. You know that you and your whole group are in very safe hands! He is a passionate mountain biker and uses the knowledge he has gained to bring you a one-of-a-kind cycling experience.

Tim has insider’s route planning expertise and skills in trail-side repairs so you know you won’t be getting lost or stuck. There is a great pub not far from where your route will begin and end. Once you’ve worked up an appetite on the hills head to The Old Fox in Coaley for some country food.

Choose from a full or a half-day ride with a group size of up to five people. You can also choose to bring your own bikes or hire one. On a half day ride you will cover 25-30km with some hill climbs, but adjustments take your skills into account. If you’re joining a more experienced rider, you could hire an electric mountain bike from Tim to make sure you still enjoy your day as well.

Discover the leafy woodlands of the Cotswolds, the open common land or visit the many charming villages. During the ride you’ll have breaks and photoshoot opportunities to save the memories and views from your day exploring.

Please note: Groups of up to five riders are allowed, and you can either hire or bring your own bike. Children must be 13 years or older to take part.

Explore the Cotswolds either on an electric mountain bike or a standard mountain bike, so all fitness levels of your group are catered for.
