Cheltenham Local Wine School

Chris is the proud owner of Cheltenham Local Wine School, part of the award winning (IWC consumer wine communicators of the year 2026) Chris is a certified WSET Wine Educator and takes incredible pride in sharing his passion for wine with you and your guests.

A former English and drama teacher, Jonathan has always been fascinated at how the humble grape becomes transformed into something so complex and diverse. He went on to achieve a WSET Level 3 and is delighted to be able to play a part in the wonderful world of wine education as there is so much to explore.

Perfect for any celebration, they offer a range of themed tasting experiences. Celebrate your birthday or special occasion with their Celebration Tasting, treat your Bride-to-Be and her hens to our Hen Party Experience, explore how to pair Cheese & Wine, or indulge yourself with our Fine Wine Tasting. Their professional wine host will guide you through a tasting journey that lasts around 2 hours, while you enjoy a selection of specially selected wines. They can travel to a Bolthole Retreats holiday home, providing you and your guests with a fun and entertaining time.
