Visit award-winning Daylesford Organic Farm, the Three Choirs Vineyard, or simply the bakers down the road that everyone talks about.
The Cotswolds are a dream for food lovers, with a wealth of independent producers, country pubs, and fine dining spots. Cotswold food and drink experiences range from sampling handcrafted spirits at local distilleries like Sibling and Shakespeare, to savouring artisan bakes at Knead Bakery or Huffkins.
Most experiences we list are seasonal, with menus changing as well as the opening hours, but we simply think this makes them all the better so you can visit the same place more than once and still discover and taste something new. And, in case we forgot to mention, many of our experiences are available to be delivered right to your cottage door.
Once inside, the region’s welcoming pubs and restaurants invite you to linger. Many showcase the very best in Cotswold food and drink, such as fresh trout from Bibury Trout Farm, wine tastings at Larkhill or Welcombe Hills vineyards, and foraged feasts courtesy of local chefs. For something hands-on, join a cookery class at The Natural Cookery School or a baking workshop in a Cotswold kitchen. It’s all part of the area’s rich, delicious heritage.
