Beautiful place! Surrounded by fields. The house itself is modern with an appearance of an old house. Spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen. We received help from the owners when we arrived late. Amazing experience. We loved everything.

A beautiful and peaceful retreat only 10 minutes from Oxford. House is beautifully finished, very comfortable and surrounded by lovely landscape. We watched sheep, hares, rabbits and even a deer coming into the garden. Perfect place for family gatherings.

We have stayed at many rental properties all over the US and abroad and this was one of the loveliest places we’ve ever stayed. The house is wonderful: located down a private driveway and surrounded by moors and fields of sheep. There’s plenty of space for parking and some wonderful outdoor space for dining or just enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. The house is beautifully decorated and beautifully appointed, and it could not have been more comfortable. Every amenity you could think of was available. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed to do so. Our host was flexible, responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The house is full of light and the beds are super comfortable, with thick duvets and soft pillows. Even though we stayed for 10 days, we would have loved to have stayed much longer! Do not miss the opportunity to rent this fabulous property. You will not be disappointed!

For larger families, this place is ideal. You are out in lovely company, able to see the sheep in the fields as you awaken each day . The cottage is beautifully appointed with a great big kitchen for entertaining. You really feel like it's yours very quickly, and you do not want to leave!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this property! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful near the Otmoor Reserve in late May--think wildflowers, bird watching, green wetlands, cattle, deer, muntjac, pheasant, and hares. Pastoral countryside at its best. The farmhouse was just as lovely. Every room was so well appointed and comfortable, and suited our family of 5 perfectly. John and Jo are inviting and communicative hosts, even providing us with some special treats to eat and drink upon arrival. My husband is still talking about how much he enjoyed staying here. We would go back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended!!
