With an abundance of open-plan living space, this is a place where you can enjoy a range of experiences without leaving the comfort of The Dutchy, from mobile beauty and spa treatments to exclusive wine tastings, the options are endless. The barns are surrounded by wonderful walks, including the Cotswold Way and there are some excellent places to dine in nearby Chipping Campden.
Full Description
Sitting off a quiet country lane, The Dutchy is surrounded by beautiful countryside and magical views over the Vale of Evesham. Beyond the woodland, on the other side of the land lies Dover’s Hill which forms part of the renowned Cotswold Way trail. The nearest pub is just a mile down the hill, whilst the beautiful ancient wool town of Chipping Campden is a five-minute drive.

This sympathetically restored pair of barns offer the opportunity to stay in a delightfully rural setting, yet with everything you need close to hand. Ledge View is a three-bedroom barn, transformed from its former life as a Nissen Hut, whilst Hill View Rise is a four-bedroom, reverse-living Dutch Barn. Both feature well-equipped kitchens, spacious living areas to relax and unwind and there is space for 14 guests to dine together in Hill View Rise.

The Dutchy sits in a large garden with space to really enjoy the open air. Organise garden games, lawn picnics or simply relax in the sunshine, listening to the birds. The sunsets from here are pretty memorable too. Dogs are welcome and there is parking for eight cars.

Reviews

We had a brilliant family holiday here, thank you so much! It was great for children with stair gates, children's crockery, fenced off garden, and with the two upstairs bedrooms in the larger building being adjoining. So nice for everyone to have their own space but also have large enough communal spaces as well. Perfect!

We used both the properties making up The Dutchy for 7 people including a wheelchair user. Great facilities for disabled in the Nissan Hut. Both properties beautifully refurbished and would easily have accommodated a larger number of people. As we are all in our 70s on a College reunion break. Great setting and super, sheltered balcony in the barn for outside eating with a great view.

Fabulous property which worked really well for us - a group of 11 old friends (aged 60). We spread over both properties - there was plenty of room for us all to gather in the living areas, and the large kitchen table was plenty big enough for us all to sit together. One of the rooms had its own wet room which was fab for a member of our group currently using crutches. The outside area was lovely too. The village of Chipping Campden, with its shops, cafes and pubs was a 20 minute walk away -the views from the Ridge were fabulous. All in all, a fabulous stay, which we all really enjoyed. We would definitely return.

Group of "old" friends" took both units which provided excellent facilities for 7 gents requiring their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of space to cook, eat and relax in the evenings after walking days. Overall splendid accommodation which we would be keen to return to in the future.

Great place to stay - can walk into Broadway and Chipping Campden, both villages beautiful. So much to do. The area is incredible - much to do within a short drive but honestly I think just walking into the two villages I’ve mentioned is the best thing about this place - park up and just be car free for a weekend.

We had such a fabulous stay. The bedrooms worked for our families and the two buildings gave everyone space. We brought garden activities for the kids which was great, plenty of space to run around. Inside was as clean as you would have hoped for. Location was ideal as a base to explore. We loved it.

We enjoyed a multi-generational birthday celebration with family coming from different parts of England and Wales. The accommodations were well equipped and really spacious for 11 of us. We were fortunate to have good weather and made use of the outdoor space, appreciating the peaceful surroundings and views. We were pleased to find Dover Hill and its walks so near.

This was ideal for our families to get together. Worked well having two properties next to each other. Location was great. Excellent walks nearby, Dover's Hill was just up the road.

The stay at the Dutchy was phenomenal, it is in a nice and secluded location. Glad it was near a hiking trail. The beds are comfortable, and the shower I used was hot. The home looks very nice inside and out, great decoration and facilities. Both houses have kitchens which we found really helpful as well could switch between the two on different days.Amazing living spaces for larger groups to hang together. Lots of seating. Would stay again!

Location

The Dutchy is in a rural setting, approximately one mile from the centre of the peaceful village of Weston Subedge, itself a five-minute drive to the popular Cotswold towns of Chipping Campden and Broadway. Located on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, The Dutchy is set within prime walking country - it’s just a short walk to the Cotswold Way at Dover’s Hill - home to the Cotswold Olympicks - and has an outstanding view of the Malvern Hills in the near distance.
