Cotswold Lake Houses

An outdoor activity centre with fabulous lakeside holiday cottages

Cotswold Water Park is a 42-square-mile outdoor activities mecca, with over 180 lakes interlinked by footpaths and bridleways. It encompasses beautiful countryside, fabulous Cotswold Water Park lodges, picturesque villages and nature reserves. There is a fantastic range of land- and water-based activities for every age, plus a beautiful spa for those who simply want to relax.

Water-based activities at the Cotswold Water Park lakes include kayaking, canoeing, sailing, inflatable rides, windsurfing, open water swimming, stand up paddleboarding (SUP), wake boarding, water skiing and fishing, as well as relaxed swimming and playing at the lovely soft sandy beach and lagoon.

Walkers and cyclists have miles of paths to explore, passing water meadows, woodland, picturesque villages, the flagship Cotswold Water Park Nature Reserve, the Cleveland Lakes Nature Reserve, and the lush green meadows alongside the River Thames. Dogs are welcome too, though they must be kept on a lead near the lake edges and are not allowed in the lakes, on the beach, or in the play areas.

The Cotswold Water Park Gateway Centre has a restaurant, café, outdoor shop (Cotswold Outdoors), bike hire shop and information centre, with Spa6 – the DeVere luxury Cotswold Spa just next door. Nearby South Cerney village also has three country pubs.
