Tucked away in the village of Little Witcombe near Cheltenham, Leafield House is a spacious countryside retreat, beautifully designed for gatherings with family and friends. Inside, the heart of the house is the stunning kitchen and dining space. Light floods through wide windows and skylights, illuminating the deep green cabinetry, statement island, and sociable dining table. Miserden Stores (5 miles) is a charming village shop and café at the heart of the Cotswolds, offering everyday essentials, local produce, and a warm community welcome. The Green Dragon Inn Pub Shop in Cockleford (8 miles) provides a wide selection of meats, milk, and organic fruit and vegetables, as well as delicious olive oil, pasta and ice cream.

The towns of Cheltenham Spa (6 miles) to the north and Cirencester (9 miles) to the south are both beautiful towns with plenty of independent shops. Both have supermarkets including Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

The Cotswold Way runs nearby opening up miles of easy-to-follow paths. From your doorstep, routes will lead you through nearby Cowley and Wards Wood. A popular countryside walk near Little Witcombe is the Birdlip and Witcombe Reservoir walk. This 5.6-mile circular route explores the area west of Birdlip, including Witcombe Wood, Witcombe Reservoirs, and Great Witcombe Roman Villa. It also features a climb to the Barrow Wake viewpoint for views over the Cotswolds. There is also a footpath right next to the property that you can follow.

Leafield House sits in the peaceful hamlet of Little Witcombe, perfectly placed between Brockworth and Birdlip. Local pubs and countryside walks are right on the doorstep, while nearby Birdlip offers sweeping views across the Severn Vale and Cowley is home to the indulgent Cowley Manor spa. A short drive brings you to Elkstone Studios, with its farm shop, bakery, padel courts, and independent boutiques.
