Wildlife & Gardens Experience
Owned and operated by passionate beekeepers Harry and Lorraine, Harry’s Honey Beekeeping is a truly unique bee experience in the beautiful Cotswolds. Get suited up and enjoy a guided tour through the inner working of a beehive and the life of a honeybee. You’ll learn the hierarchy of the hive, how the bees make honey and what makes them swarm. These bee experiences take place on the beautiful Notgrove Estate. Here you can use the tools of the trade including the bee smoker, handle the frames, discover how to handle bees gently and talk all things bees. Harry’s Honey Beekeeping offers fun, interactive and interesting sessions in a beautiful location. These sessions can be tailored to your interests and children over the age of 12 are welcome. A jar of Harry’s Honey is a sweet reminder of your time with the bees.
If you have a deeper interest in beekeeping, Harry runs a series of one-day beekeeping courses. These are perfect for people thinking about keeping their own bees. You’ll learn all the essentials and get to talk to experienced beekeepers throughout the day too. There are two locations in the Cotswolds and a range of dates to suit and it’s all crafted by bees.
