Full Description
Everything you would expect of a Cotswold retreat comes alive at Hopscotch House in Stanton. More walkers and horseriders pass than cars, you are surrounded by open countryside and walking routes and the village pub, The Mount Inn, has some of the best views around.

Hopscotch House is a beautiful choice for couples, friends or parents and their older children who are looking to get together. There are many lovely details with mullioned windows, a woodburning stove and a breathtaking rose garden. Spending time together here is easy with a spacious kitchen/diner where cooking meals at the AGA is a real treat. Making a feast with local produce, serve at the table and linger over conversation. If the weather is nice, why not dine al fresco? Through in the sitting room there is a woodburning stove and enough space for everybody to have their own seat. Put on a film or just make the most of this uninterrupted time together. Upstairs, each of the three bedrooms has a light and airy finish with comfortable beds that are hard to resist. Your quiet village surroundings are sure to provide some undisturbed rest.

Stepping out to the rose garden there is a dining terrace and BBQ which is where you will find yourselves spending a lot of your time. Reading, watching the world go by and having drinks with friends is a fabulous experience here. While being a wonderfully well-positioned base for your Cotswold explorations, Hopscotch House is also the perfect retreat which you may not want to leave.

Ground Floor

Kitchen/Dine
There is so much space in the kitchen/diner, you can unpack any necessary supplies with ease and tuck everything away in the cupboards. There's even an extra pantry cupboard beside the utility. With an AGA, fridge, dishwasher and even a coffee machine you have everything you could need. The central island has two stools to sit at and provides great extra surface space for prepping meals or serving nibbles. At the dining table there is space for six to sit.

Utility
Just off the kitchen is a utility with a washer/dryer, freezer, sink and extra storage space. This room has a splash of colour with turquoise units and black and white flooring.

Sitting Room
This room brings the outdoors in with pretty French doors that open out to the garden. Sofas provide enough space for six to sit comfortably and there is a woodburning stove for cooler days. To one side is a smart TV but you might enjoy avoiding technology and playing games or having a chat.

Shower Room
Blue tiles decorate this shower room which has a rainfall shower, WC and basin.

This house is amazing! It’s not only beautiful but extremely clean and super organised. The beds and linens are super good quality and so are the towels. The bathrooms feel like new. We enjoyed the outdoor space which is also very nice. The house is a 10 out of 10.
