Wotton-under-Edge Walking and Cycling Guide

See the wonderful spring flowers in nearby Westridge Wood

Wotton-under-Edge prides itself on making most routes accessible for everyone, no matter their fitness level. The Cotswold Way passes through the town and rich farmland, leading you from scarp top to valley bottom. The strange ditches found near the woods are the remains of the Iron Age fort and can’t fail to stir the senses. You can also enjoy lovely views of the River Severn from the Tyndale Monument.

Suggested Walks:

Tetbury ups and downs – distance of up to 2 miles, Walks on Wheels / Accessible Walk

Westonbirt Arboretum – distance of up to 5 miles, Walks With Stiles

Wotton-under-Edge – distance of up to 5 miles, National Trail

Suggested Cycling Routes:

Tetbury & Westonbirt – distance of up to 30 miles, Cotswolds AONB
