Sudeley Castle Spectacle of Light

Now in its sixth year, the Sudeley Castle Spectacle of Light is back from 26 November to 30 December. Explore the new, beautifully illuminated night-time trail around the Castle’s exquisite grounds. As you follow the trail, delight in the stunningly lit majestic trees and romantic ruins while you listen to a wonderful choice of music.
New and exciting for 2021
Visitors new and old will delight in the new Light Curve – giant arches of light across the Gardens’ water features – the flickering flames in the Queens’ Garden, an enthralling Carpet of Colour, plus light beams, lanterns and plenty more.

Festive food and drink
Sip festive, warming drinks of mulled wine and hot chocolate as you follow the magical trail around these wonderful grounds. Then visit the Castle Terrace where you can tuck into simple, hot, takeaway food before heading home.

Christmas pressies
If you’re short on inspiration for Christmas presents for your history-loving family and friends, head to the Castle’s gift shop where you’ll find some unique gifts and Castle souvenirs.

Stay awhile
With activities and entertainment for all ages, there’s something for everyone at the Spectacle of Light. So why not really get in the Christmas mood and stay a few nights at one of the Sudeley Castle Cottages* – they’re just a short stroll from the event.
