Ground Floor
Kitchen-Living-Dining Area:
Step through the front door of Tythe Barn and you’ll find yourself in the wonderfully spacious, open-plan kitchen-living-dining area that comprises the majority of the ground floor. Stylishly furnished with plenty of light and lofty, beamed ceilings, it makes for the perfect communal space for a big group or family. The Kitchen is fully equipped and immaculately designed, featuring a central island surrounded by workspace and multiple appliances. Featuring a fan oven, electric hob, American Style fridge/freezer + additional fridge, 4-slot toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, the barn is also brimming with every type of glass, crockery and utensil you could need.
The living/dining area boasts a wonderfully high, beamed ceiling, overlooked by the mezzanine corridor leading to the bedrooms above. Featuring plenty of seating including four large sofas, a wall-mounted flat screen Panasonic TV with Xbox 360, a cabinet with plenty of boardgames, various books, a traditional wood burner and dining table with chairs and a bench to seat up to 8-9 guests (trestle tables + extra chairs stored in the cupboard next to the downstairs bathroom) – there’s plenty to keep you entertained.
Family Bathroom:
A very well-presented family bathroom offering a bathtub with central mixer taps and a detachable shower hose, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom Three:
A spacious twin bedroom, featuring two single beds and a comfortable sofa that can also be transformed into a double sofa bed. Bedroom 3 also benefits from its own flat-screen TV and generous storage area, offering guests plenty of hanging and drawer space in large fitted wardrobes. The bedroom is located on the ground floor and includes a door that leads to the courtyard. (Opposite bedroom 3 you will find a storage cupboard containing the iron + ironing board, trestle tables and spare chairs and the fuse box.)
First Floor
Head across the mezzanine-style corridor to the mezzanine space. With two reclining chair beds, this space is perfect for relaxing with a book and admiring the farmyard and countryside views, or alternatively, they can be converted into beds, creating a sleeping space for two guests. There are also two small tables and lamps. (Please note that the mezzanine beds are only suitable for older children and adults).
Bedroom Two:
A large bedroom that can sleep up to 4 guests, featuring a double bed and 2 small single beds. Sleekly furnished with exposed stone walls and beams, two wardrobes, an ornate full-length mirror and two dressing tables.
En-Suite Shower Room:
A lovely en-suite shower room with a large walk-in rain shower, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom One:
This bedroom perhaps offers guests the most privacy in the house, with a comfy king-size double bed, delightful lower glass panelling offering garden views, bedside tables + lamps and a small hanging cupboard.
En-Suite Shower Room:
A compact en-suite shower room with a walk-in rain shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside
The outside area at Tythe Barn offers guests a great amount of space, with plenty of seating and tables for al fresco dining and relaxing. A mixture of wooden decking and artificial grass, the enclosed outside area provides guests with private use of a 6-seater hot tub.
