Location
Lower Hampen Farm is a small, family-run, working farm in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has been farmed by the family for over 220 years. The farm is a ‘Fair to Nature’ mixed arable and livestock farm and has a flock of rare breed pedigree sheep (Devon Closewools), Ruby Red Devon cattle, two donkeys (a mother and daughter named April and May), free range hens and seven beehives. The farm is very wildlife friendly and is always working to improve the biodiversity of flora and fauna and is home to many rare species. Birdlife on the farm is fantastic, with raptors and owls, including breeding Barn owls, Little owls and Tawny owls.
