For members, exclusive Soho Farmhouse is a mere 20-minute drive.

Flooded with light, this elegant room offers a relaxing break. Rest beside the fire on chilly evenings, noticing the bread oven tucked inside the inglenook and the winding remains of the old staircase. Dinners can be served at the dining table with plenty of space for your group to gather and indulge.
Kitchen
Opening to the garden terrace, the kitchen has a wonderful flow of movement. Start your days with breakfast at the smaller dining table, flicking through a magazine and making plans for your stay. The central island is perfect for quick bites or serving buffet meals on days spent outside and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up a feast.

After long refreshing country walks, the cloakroom is ideal for freshening up before you take the weight off your feet.
Snug
A hideaway for the children or anybody that needs some extra space, the snug has a cosy sofa and Smart TV so you can watch your favourite show or catch up on your latest novel. Younger guests will love the extra space to play and will find a selection of toys in the TV cabinet.First Floor
Bedroom One
The generous master bedroom overlooks the garden and has a tranquil atmosphere. The super king-size bed with its plump bedding will whisk you off for a night of deep sleep.

Bedroom Four
This charming single bedroom sits at the end of the house and has a spectacular view across the garden to the hills in the distance. In this room you’ll find a desk which is perfect for anybody needing to catch up on work or for younger guests to play and craft.
Bathroom
The light bathroom has a bath with a shower over, giving you the choice to linger amongst the bubbles or a quick freshen up before a trip out for dinner at the local pub.
Bedroom Two
Bedroom two is full of character with a double bed sitting before the exposed beams of a previous A-frame roof. The quirky low doorway is a reminder of the history of Cotswold cottages, just remember to duck on your way in!

Sitting at the dining table on the terrace you are bathed in sublime Cotswold surroundings, serving as inspiration to pull on your walking boots and heading out to explore. The Wychwood Way provides miles of countryside to explore, passing by Blenheim Palace, Charlbury and Chipping Norton.

On your Doorstep
Farm shops, delis, and shopping: Nearby Charlbury is a thriving market town with an excellent deli and a range of independent shops. Daylesford Organic offering an impressive farm shop, deli, homewares ang dining is around a 20-minute drive. There is also a farmer’s market held quarterly on the 2nd Saturday in March, June, September, and December from 9am to 1pm. If you are fans of Jeremy Clarkson, the Diddly Squat farm shop is just a 20-minute drive where you can pick up locally grown produce. Be sure to visit Charlbury Garden Centre which is just outside Finstock and offers much more than plants and gardening essentials. You will find a range of homewares, gifts and there is a children’s soft play and restaurant on-site.
Eating Out:- The Bird in Hand, Witney – a relaxed country inn where you can stop for a drink or meal while exploring the area (2 miles)
- Charlbury Deli and Cafe, Charlbury – good coffee and a sunny garden. Excellent selection of food (2.5 miles)
- The Old Shed, Charlbury – excellent café, great for families (3.5 mile)
- The Lamb, Shipton – drink in the cosy bar, dine in the restaurant or enjoy the large beer garden at this historic Cotswold pub (6 miles)
Walks: The Evenlode Valley is crisscrossed with footpaths and there are some wonderful walks to enjoy. From the end of the lane is a beautiful walk through rolling fields to Wychwood Forest. Walkers can also join the meandering Oxfordshire Way, which passes through Charlbury town, the Salt Way (an old drove road) or follow the Finstock and Evenlode Walk - a lovely 5-mile loop that starts from the centre of Charlbury, passes the Cornbury Park Estate (a National Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest) with a pub about halfway around in Finstock.
