A well-equipped kitchen-breakfast room provides every convenience guests need for a very comfortable stay. The house is perfectly situated to explore the Worcestershire countryside, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the Malvern Hills. Guests have a choice of two village pubs, both in easy walking distance.

Orchard View is a detached, two-story, holiday let sitting in an idyllically rural setting down a quiet country lane. It is approached via the owners’ shared gravel drive and sits discreetly behind their farmhouse.
Guests have parking space for up to three cars to the front of the house. To the rear is a private patio with dining table, chairs and a BBQ, which sits directly in front of fields and the eponymous, ancient apple orchard (with secure fencing).
From outside you could be forgiven for thinking this is a small, two-bedroom holiday home. In fact, inside guests will immediately appreciate the roomy ground floor area with its spacious, dual-aspect living-dining room and separate kitchen with a breakfast area, plus two large bedrooms (one double with a king-size bed and the other a twin with two single beds), a family bathroom and a separate WC.
Guests enter through the front door into a wide hallway with a sideboard and mirror.
The light and bright, contemporary-style dual-aspect kitchen looks out over the front courtyard and to the rear through French windows towards open fields and apple trees. It is very well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, double sink, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer, plenty of storage space, and lots of worktops to cook up a fantastic meal while chatting or watching the TV. A breakfast table and four chairs are perfectly positioned by the French window, so you can sit and enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun or take your meal out to the patio.
Living Room-Dining Area:
This fabulously spacious and light room is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa and a comfy armchair with a footstool set in front of a large, contemporary wood burner and a 45” Smart TV. Bi-fold doors open out to the patio and provide a fabulous view towards the fields and orchard. The long, rectangular dining table provides lots of room for four guests to dine, play a game or spread out a map to plan the next day’s activities.
At the end of the hallway is the family shower room, with a cabinet shower, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail.
A carpeted staircase with a handrail leads up to a wide landing with a full-length mirror and a large chest of drawers, handy for guests in either bedroom to use for extra storage.
The super-spacious master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed with bedside tables and reading lamps, a wardrobe with lots of hanging space and shelves, a chest of drawers and a 31” Freeview TV. Through the two Velux windows (with blinds), are far-reaching views across the surrounding fields and orchard.
The second bedroom is also spacious and is furnished with two, full-size single beds, a central bedside table and reading lamp, and a chest of drawers with a mirror above it. Again, this pretty room has a lovely view through the two Velux windows (with blinds) to the surrounding fields and orchard.
Between the two bedrooms is a toilet with a washbasin and vanity unit.
To the rear of Orchard View are uninterrupted views across the owners’ fields and orchard, which can be fully enjoyed from the patio at the back of the house - accessible through the Kitchen or Living Room. Guests are provided with a large garden table, four chairs and a charcoal BBQ – the perfect place for a sundowner and a relaxing, al fresco meal.
At the front of the house is a gravel driveway with secure, private parking for up to three cars.

The Kitchen door is kept locked from the outside as this door opens directly onto the owners’ private patio and swimming pool, which is not available for guests’ use. (A second French door opens from the Kitchen to Orchard View’s own patio.)

The accommodation is very spacious, very clean, very quiet, so it is a great place to relax. There are a few reasonable pubs within a short drive where you can eat and drink and Worcester isn't far away.
We slept well and really enjoyed our short break there.

A wonderful stay at Orchard View. Spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Such a lovely location, quiet but with the owners horses for company in the field. I’m not generally a fan of horses but they were fabulous to have around and I had a little soft spot for Barney by the time we left!

Located in the quiet, Worcestershire hamlet of Lower Cowsden - just a mile from the village of Peopleton and two miles from Upton Snodsbury, not far from the Warwickshire and Gloucestershire borders - Orchard View has great walking and cycling in all directions. There are places of interest within easy driving distance, including Pershore, the National Trust’s Croome Court, Spetchley Park Gardens, Elmley Castle, Broadway and Stratford-upon-Avon.
