Bluebell sits in the middle of a terrace of three pretty stone cottages that date to 1877. Lying on a tiny lane with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, this is a place of peace and tranquillity, where the sounds of nature are the backdrop to your stay.
As you step through the front door you’re greeted by a spacious and light-filled living and dining room. Pale blues and greys add to the sense of calm. The ground floor then flows through to an inner hall where you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and the bathroom, which if you position the doors just-so, enables you to lie in the clawfoot bath and gaze through the front door to the fabulous view! There’s also a handy cloakroom too. On the first floor are three pretty bedrooms with high ceilings and sash windows, two look out of the front lawn and hills beyond, and the third has views to the rear of the cottage.
The large, gently sloping lawn to the front of Bluebell is yours to enjoy in conjunction with any guests who may be staying in neighbouring Peartree Cottage. There’s lots of space and it’s the perfect spot for children to let off steam, perhaps spread a picnic blanket for an outdoor feast or just sit and soak in the views. There’s a charcoal barbecue for guests to use (please bring your own charcoal).

Living/Dining Room:
The stable front door opens into a little wooden porch which in turn leads into the spacious living and dining room. A décor of pale colours and fabrics and a large sash window to the front fill the room with light. A comfy three-seater sofa and two armchairs offer a cosy spot to relax in front of the gas wood-burner effect stove or curl up with a good book if the view beyond the windows doesn’t distract you. There’s a Smart TV with an integrated DVD player mounted on the chimney breast above the fire and the cupboard on the left is where you’ll find DVDs and games. The occasional tables with reading lamps cast a gentle glow over the room as night falls. The country-style dining table seats six guests comfortably, the gorgeous glass light fitting above adds a little modern style to this traditional cottage.
Kitchen:
The inner hall leads to the kitchen, which is a traditionally styled but well-equipped room. Wooden cupboards house all the equipment needed for a self-catering stay and you’ll also find a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The washing machine is in the cupboard under the stairs. A drop-leaf table is positioned underneath the window making a cosy place for breakfast or providing additional counter space if needed.
Bathroom:
This spacious family bathroom houses a large walk-in shower with both a rainfall shower head and a hand-held one, and a double-ended clawfoot bath, where you can soak the cares of the world away. There’s also a toilet and a hand basin with a mirror and shaver point above it.First Floor

Overlooking the peaceful lane to the rear of Bluebell, the third bedroom is an elegant king-size room with a metal bed frame, which is designed to look like leather straps. Three arched sash windows line one wall, allowing lots of light to flow in. Step beyond the front door and you’ll find a huge lawned garden, which is shared with Peartree Cottage next door, however, the sheer size means there is plenty of room for all to enjoy.
