We recommend the Sudeley Castle Circular walk for a relaxing stroll; a 2-mile loop setting off straight from the cottage’s front door, taking you into the grounds of historic Sudeley Castle - a must-visit for any guest. The 2.5 mile walk to Belas Knap, a Neolithic chambered long barrow sat atop Cleeve Hill, is also a great walk to try from the doorstep, providing you don’t mind the incline.

What an amazing location for a family get together - our first in a long time and a return to the beautiful Almsbury Farmhouse.
Such a well equipped and well presented house with everything we could possible need. The sunny weather meant that we were able to enjoy the outdoor space and the sheltered garden area was perfect for an evening barbeque.
Lorraine - September 2021
Almsbury Farmhouse is tucked away on the drive to Sudely Castle but within easy walking distance of the town. It had plenty of accommodation and facilities for our family group and the large garden was ideal for our young grandchildren and dogs to run around in. The kitchen is extremely well appointed including a range cooker, a fridge freezer plus another fridge, dishwasher & nespresso machine. There is plenty of crockery, glassware, cutlery, bakeware, cooking utensils - everything one would need. The utility makes a good place for dogs to sleep. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of cupboards and wardrobes. All bathrooms have good quality shower gel and body lotion. Towels are plentiful. A real plus is free entry to Sudely Castle which has beautiful gardens, an adventure playground, shop and cafe. All the family, even the grandchildrem, throughly enjoyed visiting.
Ann - August 2021
An absolutely beautiful property inside and out. Everything you could wish for and more. The communal areas were great and spacious, lots of room to socialise or get away from it. The gardens are fantastic. We were a party of twelve adults and no one felt like they had the last choice bedroom, even the quirky ones. Thoroughly recommend it !
Barry - August 2021
A lovely venue with lots of character in a beautiful location. We stayed as a group of friends for a short break and would absolutely recommend this property. Dog friendly and perfect for a retreat as a larger group.
A lovely house located ideally to be able to access some lovely walks. Winch come is a great place, very relaxed and not full of bus loads of tourists. The house is in good condition but there are some jobs that need to be done before I would say it was in perfect order but this is only decoration that is required in some areas.
Situated just a short walk from the beautiful Cotswold town of Winchcombe, guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to things to do and see and places to eat while staying at one of Sudeley’s cottages.
