Offering both excellent amenities and a fabulous location, Old Stables No. 2 provides a warm welcome for visitors looking to explore this enchanting area of the English countryside.

For those in search of more of a challenge, the Westonbirt Arboretum Walk with Stiles is ideal. A 4.75 mile route, this pleasant circular walk starts in the village of Leighterton (approximately 3 miles from Tetbury), taking you through farmland to the main drive of Silk Wood in the Arboretum; a fantastic way to couple a visit to the Arboretum with exploring the surrounding countryside.

Points of Note

Parking: Limited free on-street parking is available, however, the Old Railyard car park is just a short walk down the road from the cottage and offers free, unrestricted parking 24/7

This is a great cottage set in the lovely village of Tetbury. The cottage was tastefully decorated, clean, had great facilities and there was ample space. Parking in front of the accommodation is limited so we would recommend not to use your car unnecessarily Tetbury itself is a gem of a village. It has gorgeous antique shops, some delicious stored (inc a butcher come deli, Hobbs the bakery with amazing sourdough, quaint cheese shop - House of Cheese - and an independent grocer - don't bother with the local Tesco "super store"!). We only stayed a few day so used the cottage as a base for day trips with our children. We drove to Bourton on the Water for a walk/visit and also hit the Cotwolds Water Park. We would definitely rebook.

Lovely location, Tetbury is a beautiful little village. The cottage is clean and nice and comfortable.
We had a lovely stay here, the house was tidy and had great facilities (WiFi, courtyard garden, bbq, smart TV…) and it was a great location to explore Tetbury and the local countryside. Tetbury was very charming with lovely restaurants and cute shops and a visit to Westonbirt Arboretum topped it off! Highly recommend.
Very nice house in a great location. It's a very short walk to all the shops and pubs etc. in Tetbury. The house was very clean and had good entertainment options. It also had a nice kitchen which was pleasant to use and just to be in. The bedrooms were very tidy and the beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with one of the locks on one of the doors, but once we contacted someone about this, they had someone round within half an hour and they were able to help us so that was really good.
Thank you for a lovely stay. The cottage is stunning it had everything we need and we all had a wonderful night's sleep. Tetbury is lovely and has some very nice coffee shops and restaurants. I will definitely be returning.
The property was in a great location and was very clean.

If you’re a lover of all things vintage or antique, Tetbury is undoubtedly the place for you - the town regularly features in Drew Pritchard’s Salvage Hunters - with several antique stores on the high street. There’s an abundance of stylish and arty cafes, boutiques and pubs, and Prince Charles’ Tetbury residence-inspired shop Highgrove. There are some wonderful walking routes to explore right from the front door and the Tetbury Goods Shed, with its eclectic mix of music, art and theatre is a minute away.

In addition, there are several local places of interest within a 10-mile radius, including Nailsworth, the National Trust’s Newark Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, Owlpen Manor, the Matara Centre, Woodchester Mansion, Highgrove House, Badminton, and Gatcombe Park.
