Go Ape
Family Friendly Experience
Whether you are a thrill-seeker looking for action-packed fun or simply after some quality time with friends and family, days out with Go Ape are all about excitement and creating unforgettable memories. The Go Ape outdoor activity centres in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire boast two adventurous locations.
Mallards Pike is one of England’s largest oak woodlands and offers treetop and forest floor adventures. This is where you’ll find their award-winning Treetop Challenge, a fabulous treetop trek. This challenging course allows you to up the ante each time you complete a circuit. At 15 metres, this is a high one. There are plenty of additional challenges along the way to get the blood pumping too. For those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on the floor then the all-terrain Forest Segway is a great experience. The waterside café at Mallards Pike Lake is a lovely spot to refuel after your adventures.
Beechenhurst is tucked between the River Severn and the River Wye. Here you’ll find two popular high ropes experiences tailored towards younger children and families alike. The Treetop Adventure is a high ropes course designed with mini explorers (over 1m tall) and their families in mind. The Treetop Adventure Plus is ideal for those who have a little more confidence or are slightly older. Once you’ve completed the treetop adventures take a wander along the sculpture trail or head to the café for some well-deserved refreshments.
So why not step outside and discover your inner adventurer whilst surrounded by acres of forestry and beautiful views?
