Family Friendly Experience



Stratford’s Butterfly Farm opened in 1985 and has been a delight to the public ever since. It is a tropical paradise and the dream of internationally renowned lepidopterist, Clive Farrell. It has grown from a simple walk-through butterfly experience to now being a nature reserve with a highly successful breeding programme and supplies butterfly houses around the world. Discover the Flight Area, Minibeast Metropolis and the incredible Leafcutter Ants. Come rain or shine, these tropical blossoms, thundering waterfalls and fish-filled pools will be waiting for your visit.

To note: There are hard, level paths in all areas. Assistance, guide and hearing dogs are welcome but cannot enter the Flight Area due to it being an unsuitable environment for them.
