Prescott Speed Hill Climb
Cheltenham
Active Experience
The Bugatti Owners Club established the first Prescott Hill Climb in 1938. They have been meeting since 1929 and chose the perfect spot for this track. The famous hill climb is the first of its kind and was purpose built. Over 130 members of the Bugatti Owners Club arrived for the first rally before more open events were held. It has grown in popularity ever since.
Set in 69 acres of Cotswold countryside just outside Cheltenham, this prestigious venue holds high octane events. Spectacular views surround you while you watch the impressive racing feats.
The Bugatti Owners Club hold regular meetings, competitive championships and more casual club days. You’ll see much more than just Bugattis at Prescott these days with rally specific events, supercar hill racing, bikes and vintage days. There is also the opportunity to take your own car to one of the Wheels at Prescott dates to meet up with like-minded car and racing fans.
Renowned for its demand on drivers, Prescott tests their expertise with hairpin bends and steep climbs. Watch the drama unfold and marvel at their skill, or you could even give it a go yourself at their driver’s school where you learn the ropes and get to have a go at the hill climb track. With an instructor at your side you will learn the course and practise the climb before racing the route and getting individual feedback. It’s a fabulous experience for any motor heads in the family.
The hill climb days are a great spectator sport which will last long in the memory. Take a picnic and set up with a view of your favourite section, or visit the clubhouse which you can hire for your private event. There is also a club shop stocking Prescott and Bugatti memorabilia and gifts.
If you’re in search of adrenaline on your Cotswold holiday, we highly recommend booking tickets to an event here!
To note: There are limited mobility facilities, but pets are not allowed anywhere at the venue or Prescott estate.
