Blissful bathtubs in the Cotswolds

There is something incredibly indulgent and decadent about slipping into a fabulous bathtub full of bubbles and letting the cares of the world drift away.
The sole purpose of a bath is no longer simply to cleanse oneself, it’s about self-care, wellness, and let’s face it – a little bit of escapism too.
After a day of tramping through the rolling hills, browsing farmers markets and exploring the pretty villages and vibrant towns of the Cotswolds, there’s no better place to rest your walk-weary bones than in one of our fabulous soak-worthy bathtubs.
You’ll find a roundup of some of our favourite bathtub boltholes in the Cotswolds below.
Cotswold luxe
Westerleigh Cottage is a sumptuous family home, and when it comes to bath time there’s an equally fabulous bathroom complete with an enormous free-standing bathtub and magical views over the countryside.
Pretty in purple
Head for the heather-hued haven that houses the double-ended roll top bathtub at Gladstone Cottage and let the calm just wash over you.
Amongst the clouds
The vast bathroom at Quail House features a standalone clawfoot bathtub set beneath an impressive roof window. Lay back and watch the clouds or the evening stars as they start their nightly twinkle.
Secret spaces
Enjoy an almost spa-like experience in the fabulous, ensuite bathroom at Cotswold Cottage. The unique, free-standing bath takes centre stage hidden away amongst the original roof timbers.
Petit and bijou
The shower room and quaint bathroom are separate at Rose Cottage so you can sink into the cute slipper bath without fear of being disturbed. The bath sits beneath a roof skylight so relax and let your cares drift away like the clouds above you.
A medieval dip
Although parts of Mercia House date back to the mid-16th century, the bathrooms are bang up-to-date including the one with a free-standing double-ended roll top bath, which is part of the master bedroom.
Stylish in its simplicity
Field View has a simply beautiful bathroom which is serene and stylish in its simplicity. Bath lovers will adore the large claw foot tub, which sits beneath a frosted window. Fill it with bubbles and you can soak for hours.
